The Fat Girl and The Bet

chapter 20

    Ashlyn's pov 

 I sigh as I enter the girl's bathroom, feeling tired and stressed. Last night there was another fight between my parents over the phone. They just wouldn't stop blaming each other.

I groan dropping my bag to the floor. I stare at myself in the mirror, noticing the large dark bags that hung under my eyes.

I turn on the faucet, watching the run as I scooped my hands under it, bending down so I could splash it on my face. I felt refreshed and more awake then before, i didn't want to fall asleep in class or something. I would get in trouble.

Someone had shoved hard to sink, which made me hit my hip bone. I know who had done it, judging by the high heels clicking with each move she had made.

"What the hell..." I mumble as I wipe my eyes and face on the sleeve of my hoodie.

"Oh, I just wanted to say hey." Katie said casually, taking a step towards me, her face twisted in revenge and anger.

"Hey," she smiled devilishly. I noticed she was wearing a bandage boot thing on the foot she twisted yesterday, and the other foot she was wearing a wedge heel shoe.

"So, I see you hanging around with Aspen now, huh?" She asked, her eyes darkening as she raised an eyebrow.

What?

What made her jump to that conclusion? He's the one that approaches me and basically harasses me.

I purse my lips to release a snarky comment but she holds up a hand , telling me to shut up. I feel my lips go flat into a straight line.

"I'm not done yet." Katie rolls her blue eyes and begins tap her heel against the floor.

"So, fat ass. What I really wanted to say is to stay away from Aspen. He's mine so back off. He only helped you that day because he wanted to prove to the ladies that he can be a gentlemen, and he was dared to get every girl in school in bed with him by the end of the year. Besides, your just a pawn in his game of chess anyways, so I suggest you keep your distance. " Katie sneered and then kicked my bag, all over the grimy floor.

I scoff, fixing my hair into a messy pony tail. I wouldn't be surprised if it all was a dare for Aspen  anyways.

"Katie, its not like I want him even near me." I snort and glance up at her as I get to my feet, slinging my bag over my right shoulder.

"Well in that case, you better hope I never see you with him, ever again. Not even in the hallways, you got that, Porky." She smirked when I nodded and brushed my knees off. She swayed through the door.

I swallow and peek into the hallway, making sure she was gone before I ran out into the hallway. 

Just then the bell rang, signaling that fourth period was over. I groan drastically as people crowd around me as they struggle through the thick crowd to get to their locker.

I thought it would be simple:Aspen wouldn't bother me and I would easily avoid him like a plague and soon he and Katie would leave alone. But I knew my theory was terrible, I knew at the moment I saw Aspen  and his posses striding through the hallway like they owned the place.

And guess where his eyes were set?

That's right, directly on me,and only me.

Well, shoot. My plans are ruined.

At least I was right...Once Aspen enters your life, he doesn't leave without leaving some traces or details of his existence. I bet everyone will still talk about him even after we all graduate, I bet that's what he wants.

He wants everyone to love him...

He wants to be the big shot of the class of 2019.

A/n: Eh.... its kinda another filler I guess. I think Katie is such a female dog, who else agrees?? Kyle just needs some loving am I right or am I right? Hope you enjoyed. DON'T worry both Tyler and Cameron are coming back to the book, I know there some Cameron fans out and Tyler too.

I didn't have Cameron and Tyler in these past chapter because I wanted Ashlyn and Kyle to develop their 'relationship' without the other boys being there, lol.

I have read some comments, and saw that some of you think Ashyln is weak.... She is not weak she is going through a rough patch right now. She is now putting two and two together about her Best friend, not really being her 'Best Friend'.

She is only weak for the moment, I know you guys want some bad ass action, so that what you guys gonna get... but ovbi, not right now.

So hold to your hats,folks, because this ride is gonna get real bumpy.
