Layla's POV:
I yawned and sat up, finding Jess and Livy staring at me, watching my every move. They were hiding something from me.

"What's wrong?" I asked, looking around. "Where is Matt?" Livy looked at Jess, and that's when I knew the answer.

"She got him." Livy's voice cracked, her green eyes looking at anything in the room except for me.

"It's a girl?" I asked, my eyes filling up with tears.

"Yeah. Livy, um, stabbed her with the First Aid Kit scissors," Jess explained, looking uncomfortable. I noticed both of their eyes seemed puffy, so the must have been crying too.

"Well... where is Matt now?" Jess nodded towards the door, not trusting his voice. I looked to where Matt slept and saw a bloodstain in his sleeping bag. That's when the wave hit. I started sobbing, and Livy sat next to me and tried to comfort me. But nothing will comfort me, not for a long time.

Livy's POV:
Layla was sitting in the corner, her crying had gone down to sniffling. I had stopped trying to comfort her because it didn't seem to help.

"Livy." I turned around and saw Jess. "You need to see this." By the look on his face, I could tell it wasn't good. He led me to the doorway, where we peeked to where Matt was lying. On the wall, written in blood above his body, was the word: Revenge. My eyes widened.

"How are we ever going to get out?" I whispered as we walked back in.

"I don't know." His voice shook. "I've never been this scared in my whole life."

"Me neither." I paused. "What now?" When I looked at him, he didn't look scared at all. He looked... angry.

"We will wait until she comes back. We will end this."

---Two Days Later---

Livy's POV:
We never saw her since she attacked Matt. Layla was going crazy since he died, we caught her trying to run out of the room three times when she thought Jess and I weren't looking. Luckily, we saved Layla before the murderer could get her.

Now, we are just sitting in the room. It's silent, no one really talks anymore. We all have our weapons ready in case she does come, but no one dares make a sound.

"I'm going to rest," I told Jess, laying on my sleeping bag. He nodded and kept looking at the door. I sighed and went into a dreamless sleep.

* * *

I woke up to a scream. Layla, I thought instantly. I snapped my head up and saw the figure standing above me. My eyes widened as I saw it raise a knife.

"Jess!" Layla yelled from the other side of the room. Jess jumped up and looked around. He immediately tackled the figure once he saw it. Layla and I looked at him in shock.

"Run!" Jess shouted. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room, Layla following. About halfway down the hallway, shoes started clanging behind us. I had no idea where Jess was taking us, but I hoped we got there fast and apparently, we did. He opened the door at the end of the hallway and we ran in.

Jess cursed, and I realized it was a dead end.

"Tick tock," said a voice from the doorway.

A/N:
Sorry for the slow updates. I've been really busy.
We are down to the final draw... Will Livy, Jess, and Layla make it out alive?
