Recap: "Earthbenders...take the boats and get your villages back" I shouted and they all cheered

"Avatar...I am Tyro. You go ahead and leave I will take it from here" He bowed and I bowed back.

"Thank you" I said  running over the Appa. Sophia, Sokka and Toph were already on his back, I jumped up and we flew off heading to another village.

Aang POV

It has been 2 days since I last saw Sophia's beautiful eyes. Those bright blue orbs. Whoa I can't think about her like this.

Okay maybe I do like her....

We should be landing soon so me and Toph can practise some earth bending. Me and Sophia also need to figure out a way to talk to our past lives but Toph says that Sophia has already visited her past lives, so it's just me who has to figure it out but I am sure Sophia will help me. Anyway I held Sophia in my arms as she snuggled every now and them into me. She was adorable. My arms were wrapped protectively around her waist, I wasn't going to let anything hurt her. Toph, Sokka and Katara were in the saddle while I held Sophia up at Appa's neck with me.

"Hey, What's that?" Sokka said pointing to a black patch on the ground

"I don't know but it looks like a....scar?" Katara guess

"Should we land then?" I asked

"yes! I can't see anything up here" Toph exclaimed as I brought Appa lower to the ground. When we got down on solid earth, the scar was actually evidence of the fire nation having fought here.

"Listen it's so quiet...there's no life anywhere" Sokka said sadly. Way to make me feel better...it's practically my fault that there's no life here. I wasn't here to protect it.

"Aang are you okay?" Katara asked but was rudely cut off by Sokka, I collapsed on my knees. I already failed my duty as Avatar. I am suppose to care for nature and protect but I have done anything but protect.

"Fire Nation, those evil savages make me sick-" He was then cut off by Katara again.

"I think we all gathered that the fire nation did this but would you be quiet. Can't you see that you are upsetting Aang." Katara said

"Why would anyone do this?-" I said playing with the soot mixed with soil on the ground "-How could I let this happen?" I moaned to myself

"Aang...it has nothing to do with you" katara soothed

"Yes it does. It is the Avatar job to protect nature but I have done anything but protect it. I don't know how to do my job" I stated

"That's why we are all here to help you" Toph said finally putting an input in our conversation

"But there is no Avatar teacher...Monk Gyatso said that Avatar Roku would help me" I said

"The Avatar before you? But he died over 100 years ago?" Sokka said

"Sophia knows how to contact him but I don't" I groaned, as I was groaning on the ground.

"Hey, Aang you ready to be cheered up?" Katar asked as she threw a acorn at me

"How is that going to cheer me up?" I asked frustrated

"It cheered me up" Sokka laughed

"What happened?" Toph mused
