Why is she here? She wasn't here for my life. The only reason she could be here was for my sister. "Hello...." What the hell!? I didn't expect her, nor Clare to show up. Hunter looked confused, but I didn't mind him. "Why are you here..." I mumbled out. "Your sister wanted to see you obviously. you actually think I wanted to see you!?" she hissed. I hate her, but I can't get distracted by her. I'm focusing on my sister. "You can let Clare sleep over. go get a hotel roo-" "Nothing has changed has it?" I crossed my arms. "Everything has changed, dad moved on." She snorted and laughed, "I don't care about that! I care about the house, the will, those things." I smirked. "Well you'll never get them. Go to hell!" I got slapped for that one. My head slung back, I couldn't see her lips but I knew she was talking. It sucks being deaf. I looked up, "You are nothing girl! You'll never be good enough!" Now that stung, I was never good enough for her. It hurt, a lot. I looked over to see Hunter talking to my mom. "She doesn't deserve that! She's more braver than anyone I know! You're just a coward for leaving her and her dad alone!" I was shocked. No one that I know has talked to my mom like that. She walked out and left us three alone. "Are you alright Madi?" Hunter asked and I nodded. I hugged Clare and smiled. "Screw her... she's nothing. Dad just got over her. She doesn't deserve to come back. How the hell did she even find us?!" Clare looked down and started to sign. "I ran away from her, but it didn't work. She caught up with me once I got here." She lifted up her shirt and I saw bruises. Yellow, brown and purple. I covered my mouth and started to cry. My poor baby sister. I punched the wall and tried to walk outside. Too bad Hunter was there to hold on to me and calm me down. He moved his hands on my cheeks in a small manner. He kissed my forehead, "I won't let her hurt you or your sister ever again. She won't come back now. Is it okay if I stay over?" he asked and I nodded. I looked over at my sister and sighed popcorn. She laughed and pulled out hers and my favorite movie, "V for Vendetta." We watched it when we where littler but now, I need subtitles. Hunter grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him through the movie. My sister looked over at us and laughed but then turned serious her face turning a bright pink. "What did you say to her?" I asked and he laughed. "Oh just that I have a friend that's looking for a girlfriend.." He smirked and laughed. I laughed a scrabbled my sister's hand, pulling her upstairs. "You should consider actually going to our school." She smiled and nodded. We ran downstairs and grabbed Hunter's keys. "We're shopping for school supplies for her!" I pointed to my sister. "Let me come with!" He said and I nodded.
