Chapter 7

So this is it. He's finally mine. He actually wants to be with me. I stood there with a smile on my face. I took his hand and walked with him back to his place. He told me all about how he was going to protect me and hold me.

It's raining, I'm soaked, and I'm holding the man that I love hand. What else can go so strange.

We got back to see Emily still there. "Emily, I think it's time for you to go. Thanks for coming, but my girlfriend's here and you make her VERY uncomfortable." Hunter said squeezing my hand. I smiled and waved at her. "I can't believe you're still going for this bitch. She an ordinary girl." my smiled turned into a frown. "No she's anything but ordinary." He took me inside and slammed the door in her face. He sat me down on the couch. "Stay here, I'm going to get a blanket ok?" I nodded as he quickly ran upstairs. He returned back down after a minute in a new pair of jeans, no shirt, and a blanket. "Here." He says wrapping me up in it. "Do you want to call your family and tell them you are okay?" I nodded, to cold to speak. He looked through my phone for Clare's contact and pressed call. She immediately answered.

"She's fine she's too cold to speak. She got caught in the rainstorm but I'm taking good care of her."

"Yup I'll make sure to tell her."

"No her wounds are not open."

"You really want me to check?"

"Okay fine... Jeez."

"I'm sorry about that. I love your sister and she's in safe hands. Alright talk later."

He hung up and smiled up at me. "What did she say?" I asked chattering the whole time. "She just asked if you were okay and to give full details when you get home." I nodded ad leaned on him. I looked up. "Movie?" I asked and he nodded.

We sat there watching Alice and Wonderland (the non animed one)

And cuddled with each other until I drifted to sleep.

I woke up and stretched. I looked over to see him sleeping soundly. Breakfast yeah, make him breakfast. So there I was making breakfast. I closed the fridge, and saw a woman there. I gasped in shock. "Oh did I scare you? I'm so sorry. You must be Hunter's friend. I'm his mother, Justice." I smiled. "I should be sorry. I just wanted to cook breakfast for Hunter. I thought he was the only one home." She shook her head. "That boy never tells us what is going on also. Well we got his dad and brother also, so let's get cooking." I nodded, jumping back to work. I turned right as she was in the middle of a sentence. I gotta tell her... I thought sighing. "Ma'am I'm so sorry I didn't say this before, but I'm deaf. I don't know what you say until I read your lips or sign. Ca you repeat that please?" Her smile soon turned into a frown. "Can I know how you lose your hearing?" I told her everything about the bus, and things I haven't even told Hunter. It felt good to let it out. "Your dad is a strong person. And so are you. I can see why Hunter fell in love with you." I smiled as a little boy, maybe ten came down. "Mommy where's Hunter!? And who's that?" She gave him a look my dad gave me when I was being rude. "It's alright Mrs.J, he's on the couch and my name is Madison." His face lit up and ran into the living room. Mrs. J shook her head. "Cute kid. The brother?" I ask and she nodded. "My second baby. His name is Charles." She was smiling wide. "And there's my husband." I looked over and smiled. He looked just like Hunter. The broadness, face, everything. "Good Morning. Justice who's this?" He asked giving his wife a questionable look. "Hunter brought her home, then fell asleep. Isn't she pretty? I knew my son would find the perfect one." I blushed which earned some laughter. "Nice to meet you. It's great to know that Hunter found another girl. He's always around boys." I nodded, he muttered something else. Justice hit him. "Henry! She can't hear, she has to see your lips! Speak up!" He grew shocked. "I'm so sorry Madi, you don't mind me calling you that right?" I shook my head. "That's fine and it's okay. Hunter did the same thing," he managed to smile. "You talk very well." I smiled "I use a cochlear, it's not in yet. I should get it tomorrow." I'm so excited. I get to hear their voice. Even if it's just a little, especially Hunter's. I saw him rubbing his eyes. "Hey babe. It smells great. Wait mom!? Dad!?" I laughed. "Great work son. She's a keeper." I giggled and he smiled.

"Yeah, she really is."

Did he really say that? I wanted to hug him, kiss him. He smirked at me, my heart melting at his smile. I decided to get the food, that me and mrs. Justice made, and brought it to the table. We had a family breakfast. "You can officially call me Mama." I smiled wide. "Thank you Mama." I think his family likes me.
