*Caseys POV*

I am grateful to Ally when she drives me to school after we finish up at her house. Even though I turned 16 in September, Mom never got around to giving me or even paying for driving lessons.

"Thanks," I say as we pull up in front of the school. The students are inside because theres supposed to be an assembly. Ally turns into the student parking, and finds a lucky spot near the entrance.

"No prob," she says with a smile. "Thank you for helping me with that homework!" I smile and say I dont mind. Grabbing our bags, we hurry inside the school.

The assembly started before school was supposed to, because its only 8:00. The auditorium is so full. What is so important they need a meeting with the whole school?

Principal McMillan is at the microphone.

"...so if anything happens, make sure you tell a teacher right away." Ally and I slip into two empty seats closest to the door we came from.

A police officer is next to her. He leans into the mic. "Its pretty obvious that some most teens have pressures, but sometimes theres so much you do things you didnt think you ever would."

Theres a bubble of excitement amongst the students. What did we miss?

"For the safety of confidentiality,  we dont know the name of the person responsible for this heinous act. But it is required of all the schools in the state of Illinois to hold this assembly. And nonetheless, this girl is dangerous. We dont want anyone like her in our school." Assembly was dismissed.

"Damn we  missed it!" i said angrily as we rose again to go to homeroom.

"Yeah, that sucks," Ally murmurs behind me, but she doesnt sound very dissapointed.

I tap the shoulder of a boy walking in front of me. "Hey we were kind of late. What was the assembly about?"

I see he has really thick glasses when he turns. "Some crazy lesbo girl coming onto her teacher or something. "Said we should be careful." He has earbuds in his ears, so i figure he wasnt really paying attention to what the principal was saying.

"Thanks" i say, and turn back to talk to Ally, but shes vanished.

*Alyssas POV*

It was March, one of the shaky transitional months of the seasons when some days you can expect frigid icy temperatures or warm summerlike days.

I was a carefree straight A student. I wasn't popular, but I wasnt a nobody either. I played soccer, cheered on the squad, and everything was just perfect. The only thing really difficult for me was coming out to everyone, but most were nice about it and I wasn't bullied.  Dad came home same time every night after work, and that certainly was a good thing.

Everything changed on March 16.

I marked it in my calendar as soon as I got home that day. I didnt want to forget the traumatic day that ruined me.

It was after Science. My teacher,Ms. Jordyn, had asked me to stay just as everyone was leaving to go to the next class.

"Wait outside for me babe?" I said to Leah.

"Ugh I really gotta pee though." she smiled sheepishly, and I grin. It was nice how open we could be with each other.

"Its alright. See you soon." We kissed lightly and then shes gone, lost in the throng of kids converging in the hallway from different classes.

Ms. Jordyn got up and closed the door once everyone was gone.

"Dont you uh...have another class now?" I asked, sitting back down in my seat, slightly alarmed.
