Asauni was walking through her kingdom smiling and interacting with the citizens as she passed them. She was on her way to the priestess, Midoka,home. Finally arriving she notices the worried look that Midoka had.
"What's wrong,Mido?" Asauni asked worried for her friend.
"Please come in I'll tell you then."Midoka said walking inside.
Asauni followed silently behind Midoka. Sitting at the oak wood table Midoka places a thick,golden book on top of it and flips it open.
"I was doing some reading and came upon an old legend."Midoka says finally landing on a page. "Read it and tell me what you think."she continued.
'The one who may meet her and tame her may be the one who father the godly sons. For she is power. Sons who powers has no parallel. Sons who will rule the world. Sons who are loyal,quick,strong,smart. But beware, for these sons will not be easily tamed.'
"What does that mean?"Asauni questioned confused.
"The legend tells of a mother who has the ability to birth sons with the power greater than gods." Midoka explains.
"Why did you want to show me this?"Asauni asked.
"I believe that you are the woman the legend speaks of."Midoka said carefully.
"There is no way. Stop speaking this nonsense!"Asauni exclaimed.
"My lady,you must listen to understand. You are the only one strong enough to handle such a task. Your bloodline was meant for warriors,your father went toe to toe with a God." Midoka tried to explain.
"I will not listen to this foolishness." Asauni said removing herself from the hut.
"Be careful my lady,for everything that is meant to be will be. "Midoka said.
Asauni walked briskly to her marvelous home. Making her way up to her bedroom,she slammed the door behind her and threw herself on her bed. The moon shined brightly through her window. Asauni lay quietly in bed hoping that what Midoka said was just a joke.
Unbeknownst to Asauni everything Midoka said was true. Every male demon was searching for this 'Powerful Mother'. It was just a matter of time before they came for her.
