Danny's P.O.V.
So, today was great. Note sarcasm.
Today was definitely NOT great! Today alone, I've had to battle TONS of ghosts. First Skulker, then Lunch Lady, Johnny 13 and Kitty, and now the Box Ghost. It wasn't that I couldn't handle it, it was just really tiring, and I was failing about half of my classes. Of course, nothing was more annoying than the Box Ghost yelling "I am the BOX GHOST! Feel my cardboard wrath!" for the eight billionth time.
Soon after I'd caught him, I got a pleasant surprise. I was flying around, trying to blow off steam, when I crashed into something. I rubbed my head, trying to distinguish who it was. A wisp of a pure white ponytail leading to radioactive green eyes that seemed too familiar gave me the answer. It was Dani Phantom! I hadn't seen her in quite a while!
"Dani!" I smiled, rushing through the air and tackling her in a huge hug.
"Hey Danny!" She giggled, hugging me back for a second before we both let go.
"So, what brings you to boring old Amity Park?" I asked with a slight smirk.
"I heard on the news that you've been pretty busy. I thought maybe I'd give you a day to have a break." She shrugged. "Need any help?"
"Absolutely! Thanks Dani!" I smiled. She giggled slightly.
"Your welcome." She gave a gigantic smile, before it turned to a slight frown. "I just realized that I forgot to find somewhere to stay."
"I bet I could convince my parents to let you stay in the guest bedroom at my house." I suggested.
"Could work, but won't they think it's a little bit weird that I look almost exactly like you?" Dani tilted her head to one side.
"Jazz might, but when it comes to the obvious, my parents are blinder than moles." Danny smirked. They began flying off towards Fenton Works.

"Hey, um, mom? Can I ask you a question?" I asked my mother, whom was trying to cook. The keyword, trying. She turned around, accidentally pressing a button. A moment later, the grilled cheese popped out and the four pieces she'd been making in the 'Fenton Grill' jumped around the counter. They had extremely sharp teeth and had decided it was time to fight back. Mom immediately jumped into action, grabbing an emergency bucket with some very angry hot-dogs in it and began scooping them into it.
"That's three..." She muttered, looking around. Something sharp gouged itself into my leg.
"Ow..." I unlatched the creature from my now slightly bleeding leg and held it up buy it's cheesy foot. "Found it." I threw it into the bucket.
"Now, what was it you were going to ask me?" Mom asked, remaking her creation, this time managing to not make it come to life.
"Oh! I was wondering if a friend of mine could stay the night." I asked, scratched the back of my head. "So, can she stay in the guest bedroom?"
"She?" Mom asked, immediately getting suspicious. I nodded slowly. She thought about it for a minute. "IF you tell me her name, and Sam and Tucker come too." She finally decided. I hugged her, a huge smile on my face.
"Thanks mom!" I ran towards the phone.
"Danny, you forgot to tell me her name!" Mom called after me.
"Oh, right! It's Dani, with an 'i'!" I said half-way up the stairs to find my phone. I flipped through my contacts, quickly finding Tucker's number, who said he be there as soon as he was done eating dinner. (It was meatloaf night.) Sam took a bit of convincing, but was in once I told her about Dani. She said she'd need to talk to her parents, but that she'd come up with some sort of elaborate excuse or something.

Gotham City, same night...Bruce's P.O.V.
I sat at the bat-cave's computer, looking over the strange anomalies of Amity Park. There seemed to be a huge amount of paranormal activity. However, what really interested me was the supposed town terrorist: Danny Phantom. Some articles said that he was a ghost boy who fought off the evil spirits, others said he was just trying to make himself look good and had bad motives.
I wasn't entirely certain about either one. Both had strong evidence pointing both ways, and there was no way I could determine whether or not it was true without seeing him in person.
I decided what I was going to do. I shut of the computer, then walked up the stairs and through the clock that hid the entrance to the cave. I quickly found Alfred, who was dusting in the library, and told him that I'd be gone for a few days.
"May I ask, where are you going?" Alfred asked, quite used to these disappearances.
"Amity Park. Once Dick wakes up, tell him to pack his bags, we'll be leaving around noon tomorrow." I replied, walking towards my bedroom.
