Danny's P.O.V.

We ended up in this weird place. It looked kind of like the cave, but a lot brighter. Sitting on the couch was a boy who was watching static. He saw Batman and immediately stood up. He then looked at me, then back at Bats.

"Get the rest of the team together. There's someone I want you to meet." Batman ordered, and the boy walked out of the room. A few seconds later, a boy in a yellow suit with red hints sped into the room. He was followed by a few other teens, one of which was literally green, who all lined up in a row.

"Who's this?" The boy who had sped in first asked, obviously impatient.

"I was about to tell you," Batman glared at him, and he immediately flinched backwards. "This is Phantom. He will be joining your team."

What?!? That had not been part of the agreement.

"Wait, what?" I blurted, looking at Batman. He glared, although I could easily catch the 'We'll talk about this later' look.

"Really?" The green one asked. "I'm Ms. Martian, it's nice to meet you Phantom!" She held out a hand, which I didn't hesitate to shake.

"Are you really a Martian? Are you from space? What's it like on another planet?" Danny immediately began questioning.

"Woah, slow down there." The boy in the yellow suit held out a hand. "At least wait till after introductions!" He smirked.

"Okay, so who are you?" I asked.

"I'm Kid Flash." He smirked. A blonde girl wearing a green suit walked up to him, also giving out a hand.

"I'm Artemis." She smiled.. I shook her hand, then the boy who had been watching static crossed his arms.

"I'm Superboy." Was all he said before a boy in a mask gave a gloved hand to me, and once again I shook it.

"I am Aqualad, and it is a pleasure to meet you, Phantom," Aqualad gave a slight smile, shaking my hand with a calm demeanor.

"Robin." Was all he said before Batman began speaking again.

"Dismissed until further notice. Phantom, you'll come with me." He led us towards an office.

"I'm joining the team?" I said as soon as the door closed.

"Yes. For a few missions at least. If you still feel like it's too much to handle, when I tell you to, you may leave. But for now, you will work with the team. I want you to stay here until we can get a Zeta Beam set up in Amity Park. I will work out the details with your family, but I'll have Robin show you a room." Batman looked at me, his face showing absolutely no emotion whatsoever.

"But what about all the ghosts? They aren't going to magically catch themselves!" I tried to protest.

"Do you have anyone who knows your Phantom that knows what to do?" Batman asked.

"Well, yeah, but-"

"Then it's settled. I'll take care of everything, for now, you just become acquainted with the team." Batman left the room. I walked out, frowning. Robin walked in after I left and came back a moment later, a slight smirk on his face.

"Here, I'll show you to your room." Robin led him down the hall. He passed a few doors before entering a small guest room. "Bats will buy you some clothes, and anything else you'll need. I'll be staying the night across from you for today to help you out if you need me to."

"Thanks." I replied drowsily. I walked inside the room and glanced around. All that was in there was a bed, and a closet. Robin walked out of the room and once the door was closed, I turned back into my human form and sat on the bed. I looked at the mirror on the wall and ran a hand through my raven black hair. "What have I gotten myself into..."
