Explanations

Everyone was starring at me, waiting for me to explain everything. I took a deep breath, and plopped into the couch next to Superboy and Robin. 

"Well, when I was 14, my parents recreated this Ghost Portal from when they were in collage. The original Ghost Portal was the one that turned Vlad Masters into a Half-Ghost like me. I was showing the Ghost Portal to my friends Sam and Tucker, when Sam convinced me to go inside. So I did. My hand accidentally hit the 'On' button while I was still inside, and I half died, but because I died between different dimensions...Well, this happened to me. My little sister had a...similar accident, and she took the chance to travel the world, which is why people don't see her as often. I, on the other hand, protect people from the ghosts that escape. And that's pretty much it. Any questions?" I asked. Wally instantly shot his hand up. I sighed. "Wally." 

"Why'd your parents build a Ghost Portal in the first place?" He asked. 

"Well...My parents are sort of crazy." I admitted. "They kind of have this weird obsession with ghosts, and honestly, I'm not sure what they'd do if they ever found out about...me." I frowned, remembering the multiple times my dad had indirectly threatened my life...or unlife. 

"Harsh. So, they know about you?" Wally relaxed against the chair he was in. 

"No, and they never will. If they ever found out...who knows what they'd do!" I threw my hands up. "They're freaking ghost hunters." 

"Wait, your parents are ghost hunters?" MM asked. 

"Yeah." I frowned. "They kind of want to rip me apart 'Molecule by Molecule' when I'm in my ghost form..." 

"Oh..." she frowned, and you could see her face slowly melt. Suddenly, Batman called them all in for a mission debriefing. Everyone seemed pretty happy about that, especially after that awkward moment about Danny's parents. 

"We have word that Cadmus is working with an unknown partner. Your mission is to covertly find out who it is, and what they need Cadmus's technology for. I repeat, seeming as you have trouble understanding this part, covertly." Batman frowned. "I also have another mission that needs addressed. Drew Davis, a seemingly harmless man, has been spotted wandering the streets at night, followed by explosions." He turned towards us. "Robin, you, Phantom, and Miss Martian will take the Cadmus mission. Aqualad, Kid Flash, Artemis, and Superboy will be doing the Drew Davis mission. Understood?" 

Everyone nodded, and MM led me and Robin to her Bio-ship.
