Adventures in Dogsitting: Starring Danny and Cujo

Danny's P.O.V. 

*Recap* 

"Wait Dani you forgot...Cujo." I sighed. She was already long gone. I looked at Batman. "Looks like I'm stuck with him until we get the Zeta Beams set up with Amity Park." He sighed.

"Just make sure he stays out of trouble." Batman advised.

"That's impossible!" Right as I said that, the little puppy turned into the world's largest dog.

"How..." MM tried to say, but couldn't find the words.

"He's a ghost dog. He's kind of like my friend Clockwork, except he get's way bigger than he should." I frowned.

"My word still stands." Batman walked towards the Zeta Beams and left us stuck with a giant dog sniffing around the cave. 

"Cujo!" I called. He instantly turned into a puppy again and ran straight for me. He licked my face and I laughed a bit. 

"Hello Megan! We should introduce him to Wolf!" MM smiled. 

"He already knows Wulf though..." Danny tried to argue, but suddenly a huge white wolf appeared. "Nevermind." 

Cujo immediately became his larger size. The two began sniffing each other suspiciously, but eventually decided that the other was tolerable. 

The two dogs began chasing one another around the cave. Cujo bonked into a wall, and me and MM had to keep everything from falling down, while Robin watched the dogs to make sure they didn't knock anything else over. 

After a while, Cujo grabbed me by the leg, pulling me through the cave while I was screaming. Both Robin and MM had to chase after me. 

It wasn't long after that that Aqualad's group go back from their mission. The starred at Cujo in awe. 

"What is that thing?" Wally asked. I was completely out of breath and still panting. 

"That's...Cujo...my...sister...wanted...to...know...where...something...was...and she...forgot...to take him...back with her..." I was starting to breath normally now, with just a few pants here and there. "Don't worry...Batman approved..." 

"He is quite an unusual dog." Aqualad pointed out. 

"He's a ghost dog...his whole purpose is his chew toy." I frowned. 

"Seriously?" Artemis visibly cringed. "His entire purpose is a chew toy?" 

"Yep...it's a long story." I shrugged. 

"So, what'd you guys do on your mission?" 

"---------------------------------------------------------" (You guys thought I was gonna spoil it) 

"Awesome!" I laughed. 

"What about you guys? Did you find Cadmus's partner?" Wally asked. Superboy's face turned sour. 

"Yeah, it's actually Vlad Masters, which honestly doesn't surprise me much." I sighed. "He's been trying to clone me for a while..." I whispered the last part. 

"It is good he has not been successful." Aqualad sighed, glancing sympathetically at Superboy. 

"Actually..." I looked back up. "He sorta has. Remember when I told you guys I had a little sister with similar abilities as me? Well, she's sort of my clone." I shifted uncomfortably a bit. 

"So why is he so adamant about getting another one if he already has that one?" Wally asked. 

"He needs-" I was knocked down by Cujo. "CUJO!" The dog ran away as fast as he could. If dogs could laugh, he'd probably be having a fit. "Anyways, he needs me to 'go ghost' inside a cylinder thingy so he can get the morphing right. The one time he did get it right was Dani, but she was both a girl and unstable. I was able to stabilize her myself, but..." I sighed. I looked at the rest of the team, and by their faces I could tell they understood. 

"Hey, who's hungry?" Wally asked excitedly. 

We walked into the kitchen. This time we had salad and pizza. Wally ate 3 pizza's himself, leaving 2 for the rest of us. We ate mostly in silence. Cujo sat on the floor in puppy form with wide eyes. Everyone but Wally tossed him a piece of pepperoni every once and a while. Wolf got an entire slice of pizza from Superboy. 

After that, I went up to bed. Cujo walked through the door and jumped onto my bed, which was fine, until he started to shift from puppy to giganto in his sleep.

I woke up at around 9:00 in the morning. Cujo was peacefully spread out as a puppy. As I tried to get up, he shifted into giganto, pinning my legs down. 

"Cujo!" I complained. He didn't seem to hear me. I guess this was the universes way of saying 'Go back to sleep!' 

I went intangible and walked down to where everyone except Robin, Kaldur, and Artemis were eating breakfast. 

"Hi Danny!" MM waved. "There's some toast and eggs over there." She pointed towards the counter where, sure enough, there was a pile of eggs and toast. 

I grabbed a plate and sat next to Wally, who had a stack of his own. 

"Hey Danny, what exactly are your powers?" He asked. Just then, a huge Cujo phased through the walls and scared everyone half to death. He even made my ghost sense go off. 

"He won't stay in the ghost zone, and he won't stay in my room." I groaned. 

"What was his name again?" Wally asked. 

"Cujo." I responded, taking a fork or eggs into my mouth. 

"Cujo..." Wally nodded. He was already finished eating his food. He walked towards the couch and began watching a random T.V. show. 

I sighed. This was going to be a long day.
