Chapter 2: The Isle

Scarlett's POV

I was prowling around the Isle intimidating all the people in my lioness form. When people started screaming and running away and it wasn't from me and there was only one person who I think of that would make people do that......my mom Maleficent and her knuckleheads. "Scarlett you have been chosen to go to Auradon prep along with your sister and her friends." Maleficent tells me. 

"Grrrrr" I growl at her so she knows that I do not like that at all. No way am I going to some to some boarding school filled with pink prissy princesses.

"Do not growl at me!" Maleficent exclaims glowing her green eyes at me. My eyes start to glow and I try to stand tall but I can't do it for very long and I submit to her. I whimper and lay down on the round in front of her. "You will go to Auradon and get me fairy godmothers wand. So I can take over Auradon once and for all." She continues what she was telling me. "Now come with me to tell your sister and her friends.

~ Time Skip ~

"All: I'm rotten to the core, core. Rotten to the core. I'm rotten to the core, core. Who could ask for more. I'm nothing like the kid next, like the kid next door. I'm rotten to the, I'm rotten to the, I'm rotten to the core."  Mal and her friends stop singing and start laughing as Mal steals a lollipop from a baby. But Carlos, Evie and Jay stop laughing when they see the knuckleheads. 

"Hi mom." Mal says turning around to face Maleficent as she talks out from behind her knuckleheads while I stay out of view..... for now. 

"Taking candy, Mal?" Maleficent say disappointingly. While Mal looks saddened because she has always wanted our mom to be proud of her.

"It was from a baby." Mal says hopefully.

"Ooo That's my nasty little girl." Maleficent praises her. While she smiles and I feel a little jealous because Maleficent has never been a mom to me or said anything like that to me either. Maleficent then takes the lollipop, spits on it then rubs it in her armpit. Gross. Then gives it to one of her knuckleheads. "Give it back to the dreadful creature." 

"Mommm." Mal whines.

"It's the deeds Mal, that make the difference between wicked and truly evil. When I was your age, I was cursing entire kingdoms." Maleficent reminds Mal for the hundredth time and I know that because she tells me that all the time. "See I'm just trying to teach you the things that really count. How to be me." Maleficent tells her. 

"I know that, and I'll do better." Mal promises her.

"Oh! There's news! I buried the lead." Maleficent exclaims excitedly. "You five have been chosen to attend Auradon Prep." Mom tells Mal and her friends.

"Wait but there's only four of us who's the other one?" Mal questions. 

"Scarlett." Maleficent tells them, while I walk up beside Maleficent still in my lioness form. 

"What!" Mal screeches. "I will not attend some boarding school filled with a bunch of princesses and a little kitty cat!" Mal sneers directing the last part to me.

"Grrrr!" I growl threateningly taking a step towards Mal. Mal and her friends take a step back with terrifies looks on their faces though Mal tries to hide her fear in front of our mother.

"Scarlett enough!" Maleficent demands. With that over Mal and her friends argue with Maleficent about going some more and next thing we know where back in Maleficent's castle with the rest of the villains.

Each of the VK's goes to stand by there own parent while I just stand there now in human form. "You will go and find me fairy godmother's wand and you will bring it to me. Easy peasy." Maleficent tells Mal while sitting down on her throne filing her nails. 

"What's in it for us?" Mal asks.

"Matching thrones, hers and hers crowns." Maleficent answers clearly not understanding the meaning of the question.

"She meant us." Carlos tell Maleficent gesturing to me and the other VK's. Maleficent throws her file somewhere and tells Mal to come closer.

"It's all about you and me baby. Do you enjoy watching people suffer?" Mom asks her.

"Well yeah, I mean who doesn't-" Mal starts but mom interrupts her.

"Well then, get me the wand! Because with that and my sceptre, I will be able to bend both good and evil to my will!" Maleficent exclaims.

"Our will," The Evil Queen corrected her.

"Our will, our will." Maleficent waves off and clicks her fingers to get Mal's attention. "And if you refuse, your grounded for the rest of your life, missy."  Maleficent tells Mal but I also know that she it talking to me. "Also Scarlett is in charge."

"What! Mom." Mal starts but Maleficent stares Mal down with her green eyes like she did with me.

"Fine whatever." Mal says after she gives up and walks away from our mom.

"I win." Maleficent cheers. Then all the villains talk to their children on their own. After Maleficent gives Mal one of her spell books a car honks informing us that it is time to leave. When Mal and everyone else leaves the castle mom holds me back. "You will not fail me my daughter. Here is my most powerful spell book. Do not disappoint me." She tells me handing me her spell book. "Now go." She demands. I turn back into my lioness form and jump into the limo and curl up on one of the seats. With my head laying on my front paws. Now with all of us in the limo it's starts to drive after all the villains shout out what they want us to bring back except for Maleficent she just stares at me with her green eyes that practically say do not fail or else.
