I was running around looking for Evie and/or Mal in my lioness form because Ben asked me on a date and I was freaking out. And I needed Evie and Mal's help. I was about to give up when I found Mal reading out of her spell book. I walk up to her and nudge her leg. "Hey, Scarlett. What's up?" She asks looking down at me while scratching behind my ears.
"Prrrrr." I purr as she keeps petting me but I look up at her with my eyes that are asking her 'Are you stupid?'
"Oh right. Can't talk in lion form."She chuckles to herself. "Give me a minute." She says looking through her book. "Ah here's one let's see if it works? 'Although it seems absurd, turn your growl into a word' "She chants looking down at me.
"Ben asked me out on a date and i'm completely freaking out and I can't turn back human because i'm freaking out and i've been looking for you and Evie for like ever and i'm pretty sure I scared everyone at Auradon today!" I rant all in one breath as soon as she finishes the spell.
"Woah, Woah, Woah. Slow down let's go find Evie I think she is with Doug." Mal says standing up after closing her book. I follow beside Mal as we walk over to the table that Evie and Doug are sitting at and they both are looking at each other adoringly.
"Evie I need your help." I say still in my lion form.
"Whats wrong?" Evie asks after she gets over the shock that I can talk.
"Ben asked her out on a date." Mal says teasingly, showing me her famous smirk. I just her her my most deadliest glare.
"Nice." Doug speaks and I completely forgot that he was there.
"We can handle this. Bye." Evie says waving at Doug as we start to walk away.
"Bye." Doug shouts out to us but he mostly directed it to Evie.
~ Dorm Room ~
"Okay. Easy on the blush." I tell Evie as she puts on my makeup for my upcoming date. While Mal just sits on the bed watching with a smile on her face. "I don't want to scare him away. Not that I could anyway." I finish as she finishes with my blush.
"Please. My mom taught me how to apply blush before I could talk. Always use upward strokes." Evie says.
"I was alone most of my childhood so I had know one to teach me makeup tips." I say as I look down.
"Yeah but now you have us." Evie smiles at.
"And you have always had me. I just didn't know it." Mal says hugging me.
"We're going to need all the family and friends we can get if we don't pull this off. My mother's no a barrel of laughs when she doesn't get her way. Just ask Snow White." Evie tells us.
