Chapter 6: Harry?

Short chapter but I hope you guys like it!!!!!

After 7 fearful hours of waiting for my unconscious best friends results the doctor comes out of the room and explains it all. She said with the amount of damage that was on Savannah's body it was determined that she was hit by a car. She had a broken leg and broken arm. A couple broken ribs and bruises all over her body. I don't think this can get any worse.

"The other bad news is that she has internal bleeding. We are trying to stop it now as we speak but there isn't a good chance that she's gonna survive. The bleeding has already clogged most of her arteries, and we're keeping an eye out for anything that happens for the next few hours." So things can get worse..... Right then and there I broke down as the doctor walked away. I sat on the floor and pulled my knees close to my head and let out every tear that was left inside of me.

It feels like hours that I'm here sitting on the floor, but in reality it's only been a good 10 minutes. I feel someone's hand on my shoulder and I quickly look up to see who it is.

It's the doctor. And she doesn't have that friendly smile that she had on before, just a big, fat frown on her face.

"I'm sorry. We did everything we could."

I ran to the end of the corridor with tear stained eyes. I stood corrected: things can get even worse.

As I was about to exit the automatic doors that I had once came into, a nurse was shouting my name for me to wait.

"Hey I know I'm not supposed to tell you this but before our patient... you know... passed, she said someone's name. I believe it was Harry?"

Those words hit me like a cement brick. It couldn't have been Harry would it?

And just to leave from the scene like that? Once again I cry and this time someone's shaking me and calling my name.

"Daisy! Daisy! Wake up! are you okay? I heard you're screaming from downstairs! Is everything okay?" My mom asks. Then it dawned on me that I was just sleeping. Thank god it was just a dream. I couldn't have lived with out my best friend.

"Yeah mom everything's ok. I'm fine. "
