Normani was startled by the man's voice. Moments earlier she was curled up in bed with Valentin who is her supposed ex. She was extremely nervous as she stood infront of her manager. Lately she has been out of it.
" I'm so sorry. It wouldn't happen again".
" That's your excuse everytime. Get your act together" He walks away shaking his head.
" I have no idea how he puts up with your spoiled ass. But youre his niece so it's not that shocking".
" And I dont know how he puts up with your perfect prissy attitude having you as his wife" She shoots back
" Watch your tone with me little girl. Im older than you".
" Stop swelling your head. You are not a middle age woman even though you look like one"
" Run along little girl before you get into trouble".
" What trouble. You....
" Kordei what are you still doing here?" Her uncle spoke sternly
" Sorry" She says as she gritted her teeth, cursing under her breath and then leaving.
Normani practically lived with the couple, but moved out the moment she was 18. Her family had all of the riches, so she was literally living in a mansion all by herself until her bestfriend Camila came to LA and needed a place to stay and she did not hesitate to have her there. Beside she would not have to face lonliness anymore. Val was a dance instructor and she had met him at one of her prestigious friend's party, Dinah Jane and they had immediately hit it off.
