He's Nice But...

"Having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people."

-2 Timothy 3:5

Many girls fall into sin because, you guessed it, non-Christian boyfriends.

The people you hang out can mean the difference between you growing in Christ and you falling away from Christ. As the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15: 33, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company ruins good morals'."

Oh ho, and dating them is another matter in yourself.

Sure, the guy seems nice. He compliments your appearance, gives you gifts, and is nice and respectful to your parents. But this doesn't mean he respects God.

These kinds of guys get you vulnerable enough to care about what they think so you end up doing a bunch of dumb stuff with them (and I don't mean running through a laser car wash dumb).

If you want to date one of these guys, think again. Instead, grow closer in your relationship with God.

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

- Matthew 6: 33

As the above video points out, waiting for God to bring the right person into your life reaps its rewards.

But what if you really want to lead them to Christ?

This is also another trap that Christian girls fall into. You can minister to non-Christians without dating them.

Okay? Got it? Good.
