I have decided to make a list of all the reasons why I do NOT need a boyfriend, and I suggest that you make one as well. Turn it into a poem, a novel, a movie, or whatever, or keep it as a list. Make it fun, and make sure it isn't self-deprecating.
1. I have God, and He is everything I need (John 14: 8).
2. I can do anything because He gives me strength (Philippians 4: 13).
3. God gives me hope and joy and happiness (Romans 15: 13).
4. If I always seek the Lord, I will lack nothing (Psalm 34: 10).
5. Jesus is the source of my eternal salvation (Hebrews 5: 9.)
6. God has given me an undeserved privilege (Romans 5: 1-2)
7. God tells me that, despite the fact that I'll wither away on the outside, I'm still beautiful (Song of Solomon 4: 7, 2 Corinthians 4: 16).
