Josh's povEveryone sat down as instructed and stared at me. To say I was angry would be an understatement, I was fuming.
I sat down in my desk chair and turned to face the three guilt culprits. I noticed all of their nervous ticks and I knew that whatever they were hiding it wasn't good.
"So does anyone want to explain?" I asked menacingly.
No one made any move to tell me what the hell was going on so I sighed and grabbed my book off of my desk.
"That's fine. You guys are in my room so while I am entertained you guys can sit there until someone decides to talk." I started reading when I heard Em clear her throat.
I peaked over my book and gave her a knowing glance. She was never good at keeping secrets from me and we both knew that she was about to crack.
"NICK NEVER LEFT THE U.S!" She violently screamed out.
I slowly put my book down and looked between Em and Jordan.
"He just said that in the letter because he hoped that if you thought he was gone than you would move on and be better without him." Emily continued.
"And how long have you three known this?" I asked curiously.
"I've known since the hospital. He told me his plan and I tried telling him that it was a bad idea but he wouldn't listen. Em found out about a month later when she was planning on surprising me and she walked in on me and Nick playing video games." Jordan explained slowly.
"Then I told your mom about a week later because I couldn't keep the secret. She thought it would be better if we didn't tell you so....... we didn't."
They were all visibly shaking as they sat on my bed facing me. I nodded my head slightly, trying to keep any composer that I still had.
"And umm, where a exactly has Nick been staying?" I asked calmly.
I could tell that they were all freaking out because of how calm I was acting but that was all part of the plan.
"H-he's staying at h-his parents h-house usually. H-he just was I-in California v-visiting his......his umm." Jordan stuttered out.
"His what." I asked in a demanding voice that I'm sure shocked everyone.
"His girlfriend." Jordan whispered out.
I froze all movements and stared at the wall that I was now facing. I started itching my arms again, a bad habit that I had when I wanted to cut.
"Thank you for this information. Please get out of my room." I heard them all shuffle to the door quickly.
I was known as the sweet, innocent, adorable person but everyone knows that if they got me angry than I would loose my cool and freak out.
As soon as everyone left my room I rushed over and locked it shut. I grabbed my sweatshirt and a beanie and climbed out my window.
I snuck into the garage and grabbed my bike before starting to peddle full speed towards Nicks house. If he was staying with his parents that means that they knew the whole time and yet they still chose to lie to me.
Why was everyone so keen on lying to me!?!?
My phone kept going off in my pocket as I rode my bike at full speed.
