we're a few months into filming now, finn and i haven't had many romantic scenes unlike me and lucas, so now i'm wondering when the "relationship drama" ben told us about was going to happen. 

"cara, you're needed in hair and makeup you've got a scene to film in 20 minutes." ben called from outside of the door. i hummed a response that was obviously too quiet so i called back an answer even though he was long gone by now. i walked to hair and makeup and asked which scene we were doing first.

"the one at the party before all of the shit goes down." sydney replies. she's the makeup artist and she's only 20 but she is amazing at her job. i already had most of the makeup done for the scene i just needed touch ups and hair done.

"wait what shit goes down? is that in the sides for today?" i question, about to go through the lines again. she grimaced and tried to give me a smokey eye but i kept reading.

"i think i just spoiled something, but there's a party right now and that's all you need to know, now go put this on" she says handing me a deep red bodycon dress with detailing at the bottom.

after changing i walk hastily to the set where I see a bunch of extras sitting around, my eyes land on lucas and finn who are just talking about random things. "cara, thank god you're here. we're starting the scene in 5." one of the producers tells me. i nod and go to talk to the boys.

"alright?" lucas questions me. i nod and listen into their conversation which ends up in me rolling my eyes until ben tells us to get into our places.

lucas and i step outside the fake door and we wait for ben to yell 'action'.

lucas gets into character and walks over to me, "you look great." he compliments and we link hands, walking through the fake door to a party scene.

"woah it's crowded in here-" i get cut off by an extra barging past me, causing him to throw his drink on the floor. he spins around fast ready to start a fight but realises that i'm a 'pretty girl', "hey watch it you littl- oh hey, what's someone pretty like you-" he was going to finish his line but lucas stopped him. "back off, she's my girlfriend now go find some other chick to fuck."

i roll my eyes and look up and lucas, "you really don't have to-" he shakes his head and looks down at me, "i don't want these little horny shitheads to try and get with you. you're my girlfriend ok." i timidly nod at everything he says before finn walks over to the red mark on the floor.

"is everything ok over here?" i immediately snap my head up and look at him, "everything is great, why?" he looks at the tight grip lucas has on my wrist. "things looked like they were getting heated over here. i just wanted to check on you." this causes lucas to shake his head again. "check on her? like you're her babysitter. someone like cara doesn't need a best friend like you." he says before letting go of me and sighing. 

"cut!" we hear ben call out.

"i called her cara didn't i?" we all nod at lucas and reshoot the scene, actually getting a good take this time.

i walked out of the fake set and go over to rehearse my lines again, apparently there had been last minute scene changes that i missed because i slept in too late, so i need to learn what was happening. this scene will be my last one with lucas before he wraps for the season tomorrow, in the scene we go to a room to speak at the party and i think he wants to *do the deed* but instead he just wanted to talk, then he ends up leaving her.

"are you ready?" ben asks and i hold up my finger signalling i needed a second to properly get into my emotions.

"yeah, i'm ready."
