The lovely smell of pie fills the mansion, a smell everyone forgotten

"I smell...mom's pie!" Victory yells as she flies down the fleet of stairs, as Kat has her rifle on a coat rack, John making some sort of coffee

"Hey Vic, I heard that you finally got on tv! Great job hun!" He smiles as Victory tilts her head

"What...?" She asked as John turns on the remote, paused during a moment where she's punching a person "Whoops." John apologizes as he reversed the recorded news report

"A group of teens is showing an evil organization that they won't allow them to hurt their world, the leader, who goes by the name Victory, seems to have a disturbing past, with being stabbed in the back, and losing her parents, she has her brother Burn and her younger sister Aya. With their adopted brother who's a millionaire Tashida Lupus Yokio Willis, their current goal is unknown, if it is to destroy the terror of O'Hare, or they'll destroy the world as we-" the news reporter gets cut off by Kat turning the tv off

"They're wrong about you guys destroying the world." She says as John nods

"Besides, you guys don't have the soul to hurt people!" He adds as Victory sighs

"It's terrifying to know that in only a few weeks or months, they can gain so much knowledge about us, I don't want them to focus on us, I want them to focus on our actions, nothing else." she mummers as Kat hugs her

"It's fine honey bear, I know it's scary, trust me, I wouldn't have joined the military all those years ago" so says in a more soothing voice, as Victory smiles "Thanks, mom, it's been forever since I had a hug . " she says

"Come on Tash, just one round?" Jords asks as Tashi chuckles

"I mean, I haven't played Smite in awhile, I might be a little rusty." he says as Jords boots up his laptop, it's dusty, but still well

"Had this thing since I left, it was in a pawn shop, wasn't that expensive, and I kinda modded it." He adds as he boots it up, some of the keys have been replaced because of Jord's tendency to start clawing at things

"You really haven't gotten that clawing issue down pact." Tashi says as Zodia pops in

"Hey! It's Jords, I thought you died!" She exclaims as Jord yelps

"You're computer knows me?!" He asks as Tashi nods

"It's Miss Zodia, the one I've told you about multiple times" he says as Jords looks at him

"I thought you were joking about Miss Zodia. Looks like I was wrong" he adds while Zodia sighs

"Don't you ever get tired?" She asks as Jords tilts his head "What do you mean?" He asks
"Of being alone?" She replies

"Why are you asking this?"

"Because we aren't alone. We have company."
