His parents disappeared, god knows where his siblings are, and his Uncle and Aunt just come back from the dead, this isn't right
"Where are you going?" A dark purple dragon spirit asks as the boy pants
"Does it look like 'where' matters?? Mom and Dad are missing, and Uncle John and Aunt Kat are back, get ahold of yourself Izu, nothing at the moment is right!" He hissed as Izu sighs
"Babe, I'm sorry, I'm worried" the dragon says as the ginger sighs
"Sorry, I'm worried, hang on. Let me call Vic.." he says as he sits on grass, clicking Victory's number
"Howdy! I'm not here at the moment, so please leave a message and I'll try to get back! See ya!" A voicemail answers as he sighs
"Hey Vic, its Ryu, mom and dad are missing, and I heard that Aunt Kat and Uncle John are back, and Blaise and Richard are missing, I'm coming to crash for awhile, see ya." He says as he sends the message as he gets back up
"Well, it's gonna be long, but worth it." Ryu says as he gets up from the grass, looking down the cliff
"How deep is it Izu?" He asks as Izu looks down
"Probably 30 feet, don't do what I think you're gonna do." He says as Ryu chuckles
"Oh of bloody course I'm gonna do it." He says as he jumps down the cliff, firey wings catch his fall, as Izu sighs of relief as he flies down
"Don't do that, you scared me" he says as Ryu smiles
"Sorry Babe, can't help it" Ryu says as he kisses Izu's nose as the purple dragon goes red
"Nnnnggg..why?" He mutters as Ryu sighs
"Don't worry, I'll find a way to fix you." He says as Izu wraps himself around Ryu
"Honestly, I just wanna be human again, so I can feel your hair again." Izu says as Ryu giggles
"You big ol sap" he adds as Izu smiles
"I'm hungry." Izu adds as Ryu chuckles
"You're lucky, we're right under a diner!" He says as he swoops down, landing o his two feet as Izu unravels himself to open the door
"Humans first" he says as Ryu chuckles "You don't have to be THAT formal." He adds
"Can't help it." Izu says as he and Ryu sit down in one of the diner chairs as a short, pink and red haired waitress walks to them
"Howdy! Welcome to Min's Diner! What would you like to drink?" She asks
"Coffee, iced dark roast" Izu says
"I would actually like sweet tea." Ryu says as the waitress smiles
"Ok! They'll be here soon, I'll give you time to think for what you want to eat!" She says as she skips to the kitchen
"Huh, she's small" Izu says as Ryu stares blankly into the barren area that has a diner in the middle of nowhere
"Your drinks, have you looked at the menu-" the waitress says as Ryu breaks his silence
"There is no menu, you didn't give us one" he adds as the waitress' face goes pale
"O-Oh! I'm sorry, I must've forgotten, I'll get one!" She says while hastily getting a menu
"One?" Izu asks
"We don't have many printed out...we're lucky we got customers" she says as Ryu raises a brow
"We? Wouldn't there be more noise?" He asks
"He's mute." She replies as Izu quietly looks at the menu
"The strawberry with rolls sounds good." He says as Ryu shrugs
"Eh, can't hurt to try it too." He says as the waitress nods, walking to the kitchen
"Man, I cannot believe, convenient diner, one menu, and two workers? This sounds strange" Izu sighs as Ryu sighs
"I'm gonna hate myself after this, but basically something..supernatural?" He regrettably says as Izu nods
"And, we aren't even close to Jasonvale, it's gonna take us awhile t-"
"Strawberry rolls and, wait Jasonvale? I was there, well me and the chef, we can get you there!" The waitress says as Ryu questions
"How?"
"Remember, conveniently placed diner" she winks as the diner starts to move
"Wait, you not saying-"
"Yep, it's a ship, no need for applause" A man walks out of the kitchen, using sign language as Izu and Ryu look confused
"Skye said that it's a ship, mainly for sky travel, basically, we're ex-lords, stripped of our powers, Skye was the lord of wind, so he can't speak because they took the voice of wind, and I was the Lord of Protection, a defender, I can't do scrap because they put my power into a necklace." She says as Ryu chuckles
"Huh, how 'bout this, you guys take me to my cousins, and we'll see about the voice and necklace" he says as the waitress forgets to mention
"Oh, I forgot, I'm Serenity!"
