Thursday.

I woke up at 8am, I was already late for school.
I was not feeling okay and I thought about asking my mom if I could stay at home, but then I remembered that my mom is in NYC.
I emailed the school with the email of my mom, I felt so guilty, I've never done this, but I'm actually sick so...

After that, I tried to sleep, but i failed, i couldn't stop about everything that happened yesterday, the images of Matthew getting hurt were on repeat on my head.
I know I should call Matthew, it's the best, but I don't have his number.
It was 9:45am.
I thought about calling Taehyung since he is friends with him so he must know how to contact him.
Taehyung never asists to the first hour of school so I called him.

—Hello?-He answered with a hoarse voice.

—Hello, Taehyung- I said.

—Somin?-He sounded confused- What are you doing calling me? Aren't you supposed to be in class?

—I can say the same to you, little boy. But I'm sick.

—Oh what's wrong?

—Nothing I just... I didn't call you for that okay? I need Matthew's phone number, if you could give it to me?

—Matthew's?- He sounded annoyed.- Why do you want his phone number?

—Well I... we gotta do a work, and since I'm not going to be in school today I wanted to message him.- I lied. I felt bad for lying to him, I never did this.

—I don't have his number.

—How not? You guys are friends

—I'm not friends with assholes.-He said and hang up the call.

I felt really rare and bad after the call.
Taehyung and i haven't had a conversation since Matthew appeared. He used to be all the time with Jiwoo and I. He used to.

Since Taehyung didn't really help me, I decided to dress up and go visit Matthew.

The hospital was 10 minutes in car far away.
Once I arrived there I stopped in the door, what was I doing there if Matthew isn't even my friend?
He just annoys me.
But I felt like this is the correct thing to do.

I entered on the hospital and asked a doctor for him. After having to lie about my surname and told him I was 'Kim Somin' I followed him and after walking for some couple of hallways he pointed to a room at the end of the hallway we were in now.

—Door 120, don't stay too long, he has to rest.-He said

—Do you know when will he be out?

—This afternoon

—Thank you-He walked off

I entered on the room 120 discovering a sleeping Matthew.
He looked so pacific and in peace, who thought he had an accident last night.

I sat on a chair next to his bed, I could hear his heart beats from a machine that was next to him.
I started to notice my tears falling down, I didn't know this could affect me that much.

—I'm so sorry that this happened, Matthew-I said while touching his hand that was laying on the bed.

After some minutes of silence, just hearing our breathings and his heart beats, he moved his head to me and suddenly opened his eyes. I took my hand off of his and looked at him.

—Jeon Somin- he said- What a surprise- he moved his head to look at a clock that was in the wall. "11:17"-Did you skip class for me? I feel honored.

I gave him a little smile, I felt relieved.

—Do you feel okay?-He nodded- That's great

—Have you been hear for a long time?

—No, I came yesterday with Jimin-I got mad when I remembered what he did- and I came some minutes ago.

—Isn't only family supposed to be able to visit me?

I shrugged my arms.

—Such a badass-He slightly smiled.

After some time in silence I decided to ask him something, he was looking at something in his phone.

—What did you bet?-he looked at me- what did you bet with the guy you were competing with?

He looked at me seriously and looked at the wall.

—My dad's car.

—Is it...

—It's so expensive, Somin.-I didn't answer, just looked sadly at the floor.-Agh! I swear to god if I see Taehyung's face I'm going to...- He didn't finish, he just made a fist with his hand.

—Wait what? Taehyung? The Taehyung I know?

—Yes, Somin, the dickhead of your friend tried to win my trust and then challenged me in the middle of the school.

When did that happened?
Why did Taehyung change like this in a week? He isn't like this...
