LATER THAT AFTERNOON
CALLIE'S POV
All the kids just got home and Brandon is in our room packing. I dont think he knows Josh is here so this should be interesting.
"Mum I'll be in my room ok?" Hallie says at the bottom of the stairs
"Umm I wouldnt go up there into your room cause if your dad walks by you know what he'll do"
"Argh fine, we'll be out the back then"
"Good choice" I say smiling. I pick up Lincoln and go into Poppy's room where he is playing with Brooklyn and her dolls.
"Hey guys whatcha's doing?" I ask sitting next to them with Lincoln in my lap
"Nothing she wanted me to play with her so I am" she says in an extremely sad tone
"Sweety, you ok?"
"Yes! God im fine leave me alone" she says suddenly breaking out in anger and stomping out of the room. Poppy just stares at me with her eyes wide open.
"Whats wrong with Brookie?" she asks sadly
"Oh baby nothings wrong with Brookie"
"But shes been like this all day"
"What do you mean?"
"Well I went up to her a lunch time today to ask her where the bathroom was and she got really angry at me but then later she was all happy with me and then sad not long after that"
"Ok sweetie its ok you just keep playing" I say to her as I leave the room and go into our room where Brandon is sitting on the end of the bed.
"Hey babe" I say putting Lincoln in his bassinet and then walking over to him.
"Hey beautiful"
"So..." I say
"...So?"
"Brooklyn"
"What about her?"
"Apparently she's been extremely moody today like she has been that past couple of days"
"Come on babe I know we said we would take her if it got worse but everyone gets moody sometimes and maybe I dont know she's on her"
"Dont even think about it" I say to him knowing what he was gonna say
"Ok I wont but if its not that Im sure its just her age, come on Cal Hallie was a nightmare. Remember?"
I sigh and sit on his lap "Yeah I guess so but babe you didnt see how easily she snapped when I asked her if she was alright"
"Maybe she should come with me to San Diego....."
"Um no"
"What! Why?"
"Umm because she has school and its only the first week back"
"Callie come on you said yourself your worried and maybe what she needs is a bit of space from all the people in this house"
"No Brandon" I say and then walk out of the room and go downstairs where Luca is sitting on the couch playing X-Box
"ahem"
He pauses the game and looks up "May I help you?" he asks
"Homework. Got any?"
"Ummm"
"That's what I thought. Go" I say turning off the game and he starts walking upstairs to his room. I go out the back to check on Hallie and see her and Josh kissing. I really dont want to awkwardly interupt so I just turn around and go upstairs. Its not like theyre gonna have sex in the backyard in daylight. I go into Brooklyns room.
