CALLIES POV
That afternoon after we get back from the trampoline factory which was so amazingly fun, I put Linc down for another nap and then give the others their afternoon tea. We're all sitting in the lounge snacking away watching Toy Story. Im lying in Brandons lap with luca lying on my shoulder and Hallie on the other end with Poppy on her lap. The only person she is always nice to is that little girl. Then Brooklyn is sitting as far as possible away from everyone. Half way through the movie Brooklyn leaves and goes upstairs. Brandon gives me an uneasy look so I go up after her. When I get to her room she is in the corner on her phone. When I knock she jumps and suddenly hides her phone.
"Brooke whats wrong? I know you have a phone" I say but then see her actual phone on her bed so I dont know what she has over there "Brooklyn....who's phone is that?"
"....mine"
"Your phone is on your bed. You only have one?"
"No I....I have two"
"Why?....."
"No reason"
"Brooklyn...."
"Fine! So you wouldnt know"
"Know..."
"Know who I'm dating"
"Baby why is this dating thing such a big secret with you? You know Hallie has a boyfriend. Is it because of dad becasue I promise he isnt going to stop you from seeing your boyfriend"
"I know"
"So whats the issue?"
"The issue....is umm.....I dont have a boyfriend"
"Okay....."
"I have a girlfriend....."
I stand there not a shocked as most people would probably be and I walk closer to her.
"Baby thats nothing to be ashamed of"
"Its not?"
"No baby girl and its certainly nothing to hide. You're still our Brooke cookie"
I see her smile big and then she wraps her arms around me tightly.
"Thanks mummy"
I smile "I want you to promise you'll always tell me things sweetie. Cause nothing you ever say to me is ever gonna change the way I think about you. Okay?"
"Okay" she says smiling.
"So?"
"So what?"
"Name"
She laughs "her name is Kamri"
"Whats she look like?"
She gets her actual phone and shows me a picture. I smile "Shes beautiful baby"
"Thanks" she says
"So. You gonna tell the others?" I ask
"Im too scared"
"Well I'll tell ya what. I'll tell daddy for you and when you're ready you can tell your brothers and sisters yeah?"
"Yeah" she says and then hugs me again.
I take her hand and we walk back downstairs to the others and get back in our positions.
Brandon leans downa and whispers in my ear "Whats wrong?"
"Tell ya later" I say and he nods and pays his attention back to the tv.
LATER THAT NIGHT
HALLIE'S POV
We just finished and Im sitting in my room with Poppy playing snap. Well triyng to play snap but eight year olds tend to cheat.
"Dude come on you did not get that one" I say
"Did so" she says making me laugh. Then Brooklyn comes in and pulls my desk chair over to next to my bed.
"Whats up brat?" I say
"What was wrong with hello?"
"What was wrong with your room?"
"Well I need to tell you two something"
"Me too!!" Poppy says excitedly cause nobody ever includes her.
Brooklyn laughs "Yeah you too Pop"
"YAY!!"
We all laugh and then Brooklyn's face goes all serious.
"Actually never mind im gonna go to bed"
"Dude its 8:30"
"And im tired" she snaps and then leaves the room.
"Reow" Poppy says with claws making me laugh hard.
"You're something different Pop"
Then mum comes in.
"Okay Pop time for bed lets go"
"Oh mummy please no"
"No buts. bed now come on" she says and Poppy stomps off out of my room.
Great. I quickly go into Luca's room. "Oi squirt remember the plan?"
"Hallie's gone to bed she said to tell you not to come in cause she doesnt feel well or like talking to people" he says to me which is what he's gonna tell mum and dad after I text him im out of the house.
"Good work" I say and then quickly go into my room and out of my window.
CALLIE'S POV
Im tucking Poppy into bed and see something move outside on the roof outside Poppy's room. I quickly close her curtains cause I know exactly what and who it was.
"Night baby girl"
"Night mummy" she says and I turn her light out and go into my room where Brandon is playing with Lincoln on the bed.
"Hey babe" he says.
I smile and sit next to him on the bed. "Sneak out #2 happening as we speak"
"God will that child ever learn?" He says frustrated
"obviously not but I know which other child has full information on where she is"
"Yep. Lets go" he says and pick up Lincoln and we go into Lucas room where he is sitting on his bed playing x-box.
"Sup parentals?"
"your allowance this week definitely wont be whats up if you dont tell us exactly where and what Hallie is doing tonight" Brandon explains strictly.
Luca pauses his game and sits up looking at us. "If I speak do I get any punishment inflicted upon me?"
Brandon looks at me and then back at Luca "None if you speak now"
"She went out with Josh tonight so they could be......alone"
"Fuck" I say.
"Callie babe" he says because he doesnt like me swearing.
"Sorry. Do you know where they're meeting?"
"Pretty sure Josh's parents are out of town so they're just gonna be at his house"
"Of course they are" Brandon says.
"thanks buddy" I say and then we walk out and go into Brooklyns room.
"Oi you. Me and dad are just going out to get Hallie are you ok here with Luca and Poppy. Poppy is asleep and Luca is just in his room. We wont be too long?"
"Yeah thats fine"
"thanks sweetie" i say and then we quickly go downstairs. I get Lincoln into his car seat and then we drive off to Josh's. We park outside Josh's house and then I call Hallie's phone to give her a chance to tell me the truth.
