*The House*
When we got home everyone was already huddled together in the lounge room playing a board game. As we walked through the door I heard Marianna scream
Mariana: Ahh omg give her to me give her to me.
Brandon lifted hallie out of her seat and placed her so gently in Mariana’s arms.
Callie: Who knew Mr tough guy could be so gentle and sweet
Brandon: What can I say I'm an all rounder guy
I just smiled at him and was so happy that he stayed with me through this all.
Stef: So you two want to join in? Come on Brandon its your favourite game how can you say no?
Brandon: Haha ok count me in
I though about joining them but thought while Mariana is watching Hallie I might go and sought out her crib and all that crap.
Callie: Umm I’ll pass but I will be down in ten and I’ll join in
Lena: ok well hurry up I think Jude is cheating
Jude: HEY!!!
They all laughed as I ran up the stairs.
When I got to Brandons room (where we will all be sleeping) I realized nothing is organised.
Callie: Holy Crap I need to sheets on her crib and fold all her clothes
The clothes weren’t that big of a deal cause Brandon can help me later with folding but I need to put all her sheets and covers on her bed so she can take a nap in about an hour.
Lounge room
Brandons POV
While we were playing the game I could just see Mariana loving holding Hallie and it just made me wish that she was mine just so we could have a real father daughter bond.
Callie: Ok all sorted now the little munchkin has somewhere to snooze.
Brandon: Oh that was quick, I could have helped
Callie: yeah that’s ok, its not the best quality of work but it’ll do for now.
Callie joined into the came and everything was going great but then Hallie started getting upset.
Mariana: OMG did I do something what happened?
Callie: haha calm down Mariana. Come her baby girl. She just needs her diaper changed
Brandon: oh I can do it
Callie: no its fine keep playing ill be back in a sec
Maybe she doesn’t need my help as much as I thought, or maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
