A New Beginning (Part Two)

I cover my wound as I feel myself black out, but I make myself stay awake. I will not black out, not yet!

"D-Don't worry about me. Return to Joey, I'll be okay. Please convince him that this was a dream and nothing more." I convice Daniel.

"A-Are you sure you're o-?" I cut him off just like I did to Joey.

"J-Just go!" I said to him.
He nodded and ran off back into the house...

I smiled. I walked off as I held my wound with my right hand.

I walked on and on...
I got confused.
I got dizzy.
Honestly, I felt like I was spiraling into the unknown.

Suddenly, someone appeared...
...Guess who it was?
Catrific.

"Long time no see, WOLFIE?" She laughed. I looked to her, as she was my second mission. This was no mistake...

I laughed quietly.
"What are YOU laughing at?" She came closer.

"I was expecting you."

"You.. WHAT?" She was confused, but before she could say anything I was hugging her.

She looked down at me and then, she just simply... Disappeared.

But then out of nowhere, she reappeared! I was very comfused with all of this disappearing, reappearing stuff. It also could've been teleporting, I don't know.

When I looked at Cat, she looked...
Different.
Like she had been freed. Did I heal her, or was I too late?

...The glim of happiness returned. Her light had returned...
Her aura wasn't dark...

I was pretty sure I had saved her, but..
Could I be certain?
What if this was just an illusion?
...What if my senses were off.

I backed away a few steps.
She turned to me, and her face lit up.

"Oh, Wolfie! Erm-, I should probably stop calling you that... Shadow, you saved me! Thank you!" She raced over to me and hugged me. Then I was certain, I had saved her.

I nodded and hugged her back.
Mission two was now completed. I could return to my pack...

After Catrific and I parted out ways, I walked on...
My vision blurred, and I was loosing sight of what was real or not..
I was loosing sight of everything.
I was dizzy and everything was spinning...

I held my wound from the gunshot...
Blood was still seeping through my fingers...
I had wonderef why my wolf insant healing hadn't healed my wound..
Was it too fatal?
Maybe this one would take time.
After all, I was supposed to black out before healing...
But I hadn't. I refused.

The last thing that I remember is I was walking in a forest, but I collapsed. My whole body shut down after that, and I blacked out...

...This was A New Beginning.
