"Alright everyone, time to put your training to the test!" I shouted and everyone nodded. We all came together, and we stood strong.

They were awaiting for my command.
I drew my bow, and put it to the sky. I ran out and slashed the first zombie, which meant the others could battle.

This was where the real training began.

They all split up into independent defenders, except for Mat and Steph.

"Put everything you have into them!" I encouraged and I saw them fighting their hardest. I faught my hardest, too.

"Help each other out!" I instructed, as I helped Nate with a group of zombies. I saw the others doing the same...

"Let your skills improve the others! Combine the skills! Work together!" Everyone caught on, and they were all helping eachother out in the heat of battle.

We then all met up with eachother back in the middle. Our battle wasn't done yet, nope.

Right in front of us, there was a stumbling and slow zombie. This wasn't any zombie, though. It had to be the boss of them all... This zombie was twice their size.

"This is where the true battle begins. We must all work together at once. It's our only chance... Ready? GO!" I lead the battle into action.

Joan and Thomas worked together with both the dagger and the sword to slash through the legs of the zombie...

Steph gave Matpat and Nate a boost so they could work on the middle, and me?

I boosted on the shield, while leaping up with all the power I had. From there I got both of my swords out, and I did a jump slash. My blades dove toward the zombie in mid air, and once they reached the flesh, the blades did their job by tearing away the flesh instantly.

The blades reached the heart, and when they touched it, the zombie disappeared making us all fall to the ground.

"Ow..." Groaned almost everyone except me...
I giggled as I layed on the ground.

"What's so funny?" Nate asked, clearly annoyed.

"We won!" I leaped up into the air. I landed and looked to the others with battle-thirsty eyes. "We did it." I was happy, to say the least.

Thomas got up and laughed along with me... One by one, the others got up and surrounded me.

"Team Wolf!"

"Your training is completed, but there is still something else planned." I thought back to the awakening. This was important... Since I never got to do it with Joey or the others, this would be very important.

"...But don't worry about it... I'll come to you when needed. Continue your fighting practice." I brushed it off so that they wouldn't have anything to worry about. They shouldn't have to worry about it.

I thought about who I should go to first, and I immediately thought to Nate... I silently walked over to him, and he noticed.

"Oh? So I'm first, huh? Okay... What's up?" He asked. He forever had a smirk on his face, as this must've been the most exciting thing he has experienced...

...But the world ending was nothing to be excited about...

I motioned for him to sit on the snow with me, and he did. I looked at him, wondering how I should say: 'Oh yeah, Nate. You're a wolf. Boom, there 'ya go.'

I sighed as I looked to the ground. I didn't meet his eyes...
"What's wrong, Shadow?" He tried to face me, but my face just went to the ground.

I looked up to him, and I knew what had to be done. For him to realize that he had to be awakened, he had to meditate.

"Alright. We're going to do a meditation..." I quietly spoke to him. He nodded.

I taught him the certain way to sit, and the breathing methods... Once we were deep into the meditation, I left the meditation.

I would just observe Nate...
This was his meditation, not mine.

"O-Okay, what do you see?" I asked him. I knew that this would work - it had to work. There was no doubt in my mind that it wouldn't work.

He gasped, which alerted me.

"D-Don't open your eyes! Keep your mind focused!" I instructed. If he even opened his eyes for a single moment, he would lose the progress.

He focused, which made him furrow his eyebrows.
"What do you see?" I asked, calmly.

"A-A w-wolf!? ...B-But it's me?"
Bingo.

"Exactly." He just had to piece it together... That's the thing with me, you had to piece everything together to truly know me. It was all out there, you just had to piece it together.

He slowly opened his eyes...
"Wait a second... A-Am I a wolf?" He asked me. I smiled, as he had gotten it right.

He was awoken.

I nodded..
"Tell me what you saw." I asked, more as a statement rather than a question.

"....A fully black wolf with blue eyes." He had said.

"...Okay. Let's get to work."

"Work?" He emphasized.
I didn't answer, instead, I just stood up...

As time passed, I spent time with Nate.
I learned more about how his wolf form works, and it was pretty cool..

The last thing I taught him was to transform, which would be the moment of truth for him.

"Alright. Remember what we learned." He nodded, and he began running at full speed.

He jumped up, and once he did that...
He transformed.

He landed on all four paws.
He was a pure black wolf with sky blue eyes that were piercing. He had white fluff on the insides of his ears.

I slowly walked towards him with a hopeful smile on my face.

"Woah!" He was happy.
I was glad.
He padded around and got used to his form. He already had mastered everything- I mean, it was his second nature.

...There was much work to be done, but I could already feel this adventure coming to a close.
