They all nodded.
"For, Narnia!" Thomas shouted. I internally laughed......Memories flooded my mind once more. The battles, the zombies, Team Wolf... The memories hurt.
"This is for Team Wolf..." I whispered.
I swiftly and silently lead the battle. I leaped up and swung my bow, which decapitated one zombie's head. I growled at the circle of zombies that were now surrounding me.
I summoned my red and blue sword and put away my bow. I then used a very effective move, which was basically me swinging around in a circle as I sliced through the zombies insides.
I then looked at the battlefield around me... This... This was my fault, wasn't it? This prophecy of mine... Paradise... This is what causes the suffering. It's me, isn't it? The battling, the fighting, the wars...
It's all caused by me.
I wanted peace, but all I did was cause the chaos. If I wasn't here... The maybe... Maybe everyone would be alright...This fate was cruel, but worth it...
I looked around at everyone fighting their hard battles... I began tearing up.
This reminded me of Team Wolf, so much...I saw Thomas was taking on a hoard of zombies, but I also saw a zombie come from behind... He would get bitten! I couldn't let that happen...
I raced towards Thomas, and just as the zombie was about to grab hold of Thomas, I leaped up and pinned the zombie to the ground. I then stabbed the zombie with my sword...
The zombie disappeared into nothingness. I then realized that all of the zombies were gone, meaning we had won...
Everyone cheered as we gathered together...
"Go, -" Thomas was about to say our team name, but he drew a blank. He looked confused. "What should our team name be?" He asked everyone."I think we should let Shadow decide..." Joan smiled. My eyes widened at this motion... Why me?
"Yeah! Let's have, Shadow decide!" Tayln cheered. They then all looked to me for the answer that I knew I had to give.
Every single memory came rushing back into my mind. I was overwhelmed at everything... The flooding memories... The simple happiness of the previous adventure...
The team... The pack-like nature... I remembered how much I missed them...
I knew that this had to be the name of our team. No other name could justify this team."Team Wolf." I then transformed into my human disguise form and stood with pride. I smiled at the bittersweetness. I had a broken smile plastered on my face. The tears came streaming down, along with the memories.
The emotions came flooding back, and all of a sudden, I didn't feel so numb anymore. I had a slight blush on my face, due to the coldness...
But I wasn't cold. I was warm... My heart had been put back together...Everything was back...
Was I no longer broken?Thomas looked at me and he smiled.
He then wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly.I hugged him back tightly as well.
The truth of that moment? I had regained my love for hugs.
I knew I had to protect these people.
I knew my mission... I knew my purpose...I had returned.
Joan and Tayln joined in the hug for a group hug. The tears had turned into happy-tears.
"Go, Team Wolf!" We all shouted into the bitter, cold air. We laughed while we broke apart from the hug...
"You're like someone from an anime." Joan laughed, referring to my human disguise form...
I grabbed my left arm and rubbed it.
I looked down and laughed quietly.
"Yeah, I suppose you're right." I shyly replied."Welp, we better get some supplies if we plan on surviving." I instructed everyone. They all agreed with me.
"We need hay to sleep on, which I'll get. We also need to somehow start a fire... We need food as well." Thomas said he had food, and Tayln and Joan began to find sticks beneath the snow to start the fire.
I set out into a forest in search of hay, or any soft materials that would count as hay. I padded and trotted in the snow, as I was back in my wolf form.
I then picked up a scent that I thought I would never smell... I then heard running footsteps, so I decided to hide behind a tree to see if I could figure out who it was. I mean, they might need help... Who knows?
I made myself invisible behind the tree as I watched from a far...
As I could tell, from their body movements, they were running from something... I wondered what they were running from...They stopped running, right in front of my tree. They panted while holding their knees. ...This wasn't a human, but a fellow wolf. I wondered why they were not running in wolf form...
It is much more effective to run in wolf form...
Maybe they weren't aware that they were a wolf? Maybe they were not awoken yet?I revealed myself from behind the tree. He looked up at me, and he was frozen in place. He backed away a few steps...
"A w-winged wolf!? This place just keeps getting crazier and crazier! Maybe I'm just lucid dreaming..? It's like I'm in an anime... First I was running from a person who wanted to kill me, and now there's a winged wolf!? Oh god, please don't hurt me..." He put his hands up.
Oh, so he had noticed my wings? I wondered why Thomas or the others didn't say anything about them..
"Yield, Nate. You're not dreaming, this is very real..." I warned him... I noticed the figure he was talking about in the distance..
"Quick! Hide behind this tree!" I motioned with my wing.
"Why should I trust you!?" He had a point. I mean, he was running from a person who wanted to kill him, and now a winged wolf was trying to save him? Quite confusing.
I just pulled him behind the tree with me, and we both went silent as we saw that the person he was running from had ran off in the other direction.
We both sighed, and we walked out from our cover. He looked at me...
"Okay, I have questions.""...Okie dokie?" I replied. I sat down on the snow. I could tell that he was very confused.
"How do you have wings? And, since when did wolves talk? Lastly, why did you save me?"
