They looked around with awe...
Everything was snow covered, except the part where Paradise was...

I looked below me, and I saw old paw-tracks. I slightly gasped.
These were from the previous adventure... They had stayed here this whole time...

"The portal to Paradise is over there, but something needs to happen first." I pointed to the portal that was on a ledge. There were stairs before you got to the ledge, which made it look like a building even though it wasn't.

"Who's that?" Talyn asked as she pointed to the figure who wanted to battle me...

"Well, you see you MUTTS, I'm none other than..." The person began.
"Brooke." We said in unison.

....The one I used to have a crush on, well, at least I thought it was a crush. Then she got poisoned, but I didn't even know how to heal her or what poison even was...

"Ah, someone remembers me... Nice to see you again, mutt- Erm, Snowpaw." She scoffed at me. Her eyes hissed at me...

I growled beneath my breath.
"Save your fakeness and breath, Brooke. You will never have Paradise!"

She laughed and then glared at me...
If looks could kill, we would both be dead.

"We'll see about that."

We got into our battle stances, when all of a sudden, Team Wolf stood in front of me.

"W-What are you doing?" I asked them. They looked back at me...

"We're protecting you! You've saved our lives, let us save yours!" They bravely said, but unfortunately I couldn't let that happen.

I shook my head while walking in front of them. "I'm sorry, everyone. But I'm afraid that's not how that works... I must fight my own battles." I stood with valor and perseverance.

Brooke laughed at this...
"You remember this, don't you? Let's get on with this!" Brooke got in her stance, and as I stood in front of the others, I got into mine.

We both jumped up, signalling that this was the start of our fight.
Brooke made the first move, which was to tackle me onto the ground, but unfortunately, she failed. I dodged in a swift movement.

I flapped my wings up, and she met me in the air. We both charged at each other with incredible speed.

When we hit each other, my claws worked as talons. I had the upperpaw. I flew in the air with speed, dragging her along.

Brooke had a dagger that I was unaware of, and she stuck it right into my wing. Without the power of both wings, I lost my stability.

I stopped flying, and went spiraling to the ground. I still had Brooke in my grasp, though. I clawed at her, and tried biting her, all the while we were crashing to the ground.

She stabbed me multiple times, which caused me to lose blood. Due to my immense healing, though, I was fine.

Once we hit the ground, we both were on different sides. I growled and made the first move, tackling her to the ground. I was about to use my canine teeth on her, but she used her feet to kick me off of her and onto the ground.

She now had me pinned to the ground. She tried to stab my face, but I only dodged it by opening my jaws.

"Face it, Mutt. You're destined to die." Brooke thought she had won, but she had forgotten a single detail that was fatal.

"I will not die." I said weakly, and with that I had more energy than ever. I got out of her grasp, and I began to use all of my elements on her.

I used water bolts, and snow pellets... I used the wind to move her onto the top ledge where I met her and continued to fight. I used my galaxy powers, and all of the rest of my elements.

She was very weak, and almost down...
But, she drew out a weapon that I never knew she had.
She pointed a black pistol at me...

...Guns and pistols blacked me out.
...This could be fatal, but I had to make this decision.

I summoned my Alpha Staff at the last minute.

"Say goodbye, Wolfie." She smiled as she fired the gun. I took the bullet, but I was still standing.

"BY THE POWER OF THE ALPHA STAFF, I BANISH THEE!" I pointed it at Brooke, and she stood there frozen. All of the spirits of Nightpack came out of the alpha staff, and my eyes turned white. They all used their powers on her, and I used my power on her which was the final blow.

She disappeared into thin air...
I had won.
I dropped to the ground. I was bleeding from my chest, but that was okay.
My promise was fulfilled.
I shakily stood up as the others ran toward me.

The portal was activated.

"Woah! That was so awesome!" Nate cheered.
"Are you okay?" Thomas asked.

I nodded...

"It's time for you guys to go to Paradise. I'm sorry for everything, but thank you. I will never forget this adventure. Team Wolf will forever live in my heart..." I spoke quietly, but also weakly. I had a broken smile as I smiled through the tears.

"What about you?" Nate asked...
I shook my head and weakly laughed.

"You must go. Until our paths cross again, in paradise... Farewell, Team Wolf... Go on, now. I'll be fine." I assured them.

Talyn, Joan, Matpat, Steph, and Thomas nodded. "Farewell, Shadow. Thank you for everything." They followed one by one onto the portal as they each waved goodbye and went into Paradise...

"I'm not leaving you! You have to come with us!" Nate pleaded. I looked up to him. He bent down and hugged me.

"You must go..." I whispered.

"I-I know..."

"We will meet again." I knew we would. Our paths would cross again..

"Please don't be sad. You must go, trust me..."

Nate nodded. He looked at me before stepping onto the portal.
"Until our paths cross again, in Paradise. Farewell, Shadow." The portal lit up, and Nate was gone.

I was alone, and the bullet that pierced my heart was overtaking me. I still had my broken smile as I was crying.

"Until our paths cross again, in Paradise. Farewell, Team Wolf."

My body collapsed and sent me into a laying position. The blood spread throughout the snow as I slowly closed my eyes...

...My promise was kept, my purpose was completed.

....
I walked through the forest as I knew I had to return to my pack...
For this was the last time...
The final time...
I would finally complete my main promise and purpose.

This was the final time the world would end.

...Would I finally be able to enter Paradise?
