Becca the hybrid

A year past and Susan continued to stay at the mansion. She'd learned a lot about everything since she had been back home. This time Michael didn't hold back anything he told her all about the rose and about how to turn a human into a vampire. There was nothing she didn't know about what took place within the mansions walls. She was now queen mother of all vampires past or present. She was now his concubine even his sires obeyed her at will.

Michael worked hard on a particular serum that would change a humans  molecular structure within its DNA. He told Susan of what he had discovered. She was excited she always wanted a child of her own she figured that Michael owed her that much. The serum worked in two ways first the subject would have to drink the blood of the one who turned him. Then the serum is administered into the bloodstream of the host just before the humans transformation is completed. The hybrid would Possess special abilities to do many things. It would possess the ability to seduce it's victims at will. It would also have the ability to be more powerful than any  original vampire before it.

Michael was threading on deadly grounds he was full aware of the consequences that followed. But still he knew that the bloodline needed another addition especially after what happened to Lucian Anderson.

Michael knew just how much Susan wanted to have a child but couldn't because of him. He figured that tonight he was going to surprise her with a host that was not that much younger than herself. The serum was ready for testing it had to be done he begun to label the test tube Becca. It was his mother's middle name the name he called out  many times as a child long before the rose was introduced into his life.

The hybrid serum had a mixture of different DNA within it secrets. The host would share each ability at will and it would become who it was the moment of its transformation had occurred. The serum contained the DNA of a sire a vampire as well as the DNA of a werewolf. There were other parts of DNA that Michael dare not tell Susan about parts that he only knew off and he alone. He knew that if he told her everything about the serum she would think of him as being a mad scientist and leave.

The night came fast Michael watched his prey close. He didn't want to sire the young lady but there was no other way to keep her from screaming. Soon the child found herself alone she screamed for help but no one came. the sounds echoed in the background from things that were not there. She was terrifyingly frightened at what was happening to her. Her mind tried to grasp that today could be the last day of the rest of her life... Hello is anyone here I need help was the last thing she said. The serum had now begun to work its way though her bloodstream. The girl looked pale her skin had ashen the color of amber. She was now in her first stage of transformation. Michael was happy his serum worked it wouldn't take long before he would be able to present Becca to her mother Susan smith. He knew that Susan would be happy to have Becca as her own. Although Becca was only a year younger than Susan her plans was to sire the child to make her believe that she was her mother. Michael didn't tell Susan about the power the child was going to possess as she got older. As far as Michael was concerned they were all a part of his experiments and each of them were on a need to know basis.

Scott Daniels often thought about carnival although he didn't miss anything about the place he still had his memories. Scott was now seeing someone her name is Renee Goodwin she caught his eye at the local grocery store one Sunday afternoon. It took her by surprise to see that he was the only man shopping for food that day. Renee found that attractive in a man too her it showed confidence, plus it meant he was single and that's what she liked most of all. She knew she had to have him she soon found herself following him around she made several attempts to get his attention without being suspected as looking desperate. She decided to build up enough nerve to simply just ask him out it didn't take long before they hit it off and became a couple. He was finally happy with his life and for the first time ever he was contemplating having a child with her.

Back at carnival the case of the murdered victims became cold case files they never found anyone responsible for what had happened to them. The people still talked about that night as if it was folk lore. No one wanted to believe that the murdered victims were  slain that day by a vampire. Each person in carnival told there version of what happened in a different way everytime. No one really knew the truth other than those who were already dead and the thing that killed them.

Michael Collier stayed with Becca each night during her transformation. At times he doubt that she would make it her body convulsed into tremors that scared even him. The serum that now shaped her DNA had taking her over completely she was no longer human. Soon my love he whispered as he checked the syringe that pumped the serum into her arm.

Susan was resting she didn't want to go out that night she often daydream about her life as a human. At times she would find herself in tears she wanted to be normal like everyone else she knew... "Why did he do this to me she cried?" Susan held her pillow close to where her heart should've been. She wondered if Lucian felt the same way she asked herself the same question over and over just who was Michael Collier?"
