Chapter 3A couple of hours had flown by and Zara found herself still engaged in conversation with Melanie. The girl had an amazing spirit, she was flattering and humorous... everything Zara tried to be.
"You're so red, you look like you're about to pop, are you okay?"
Zara ran a hand across her face shaking her head, "Yeah," she laughed trying to calm her nerves. She sighed, "I'm just a little nervous still..."
"About what, am I holding you u-"
"No, no you're fine. Really. I guess I'm still a little shaken up that you're still here talking to me because you're just so beautiful and I was kind of gawking at you before you approached me."
Melanie sat agape, a light blush rolling up against the brown of her cheeks. Now they both sat nervously in front of each other with red in their faces.
Suddenly, Zara checked her watch and swore under her breathe as she remembered where she was supposed to be. "I'm sorry I have to go, I promised to see my dad for father's day." Zara rolled her eyes, as she racked up her things.
"Oh, yeah I'm sorry for holding you up. I'm sure you came here to work or something."
"No it's fine. I really enjoyed talking to you. As a matter of fact, I'd much rather stay here and talk with you than see my dad, but family calls."
"Aw, I love a family guy." Melanie giggled.
Zara instantly caught the joke and chuckled. So does that mean that she could like her too? A blush followed as usual. "Well... I guess I'll be going now."
"Wait, um, I have to ask a favor." Melanie winced, almost as if she didn't want to ask, "Could you maybe drop me off somewhere? Someone was supposed to come scoop me a long time ago but they never showed."
A huge smile sprouted across Zara's face, "Of course."
The entire ride Melanie and Zara cracked jokes to one another, corny jokes. Zara had tears in her eyes as she laughed at the girl mimicking telephone operators. They were on their way to Zara's parent's house instead since it was closer.
"You're so cute when you blush," Melanie giggled as she turned her chocolate eyes to Zara.
Zara licked her lips trying to hold back another blush and her smile, but she couldn't. She had never been shy around girls, but Melanie made her extremely nervous and timid. She tried to change the topic before she did something stupid.
"So how are you celebrating your dad today?"
Melanie pursed her lips into a straight line, "I don't have a dad," she sighed shaking her head, "Well I have one of course but I've never met him."
"Oh..." was all Zara could respond. She hadn't meant to make things awkward or uncomfortable, "I'm sorry."
"No," Melanie ferried her eyebrows and waved it off, "it's okay, I'm used to it."
Zara pulled up to her parent's house and climbed out of the car. She was about to offer Melanie to come in with her but she heard another door shut and saw the goddess walking her way. She was basically drooling at how the muscles in her bare smooth legs flexed with every step she took.
"Um, you don't have to come in if you don't want to."
"No, it's fine I like meeting people's families. It tells me a lot about that person." Zara shook her head as she scratched the back of her head nervously.
"Well, I just want to warn you that if things get crazy, that's not who I am." They both laughed as Melanie looped her arm around Zara's. She instantly pulled away when she thought about how it would look to Zara's parents.
Electric shocks ran through Zara's body when the skin of the beautiful women's touched her arm and the fabric above her breasts brushed against her elbow. Her breath hitched quietly and she felt a little empty when she took her hands away.
"Just introduce me as your friend, okay?"
Zara nodded as they headed into the house. She called for her parents. As they walked farther into the house she noticed that they had a few visitors around. She spotted her mother and hugged her. She introduced her mother to Melanie. Zara's mother captures the girl into a warm embrace and stood back to look at her. "Wow, you are so beautiful. You should look into modeling or something I hear they are wanting more natural girls. All those other girls are getting surgeries and...." Her mother ran on and on to Melanie who respectfully replied when needed. Zara looked around and over the few people that were there.
Once she speaks with her dad she and pretty little Melanie can go. "Looking for someone?"
She turned around to face the voice, "Yeah I think I've found them though," she gave her dad a hug, "Happy Father's Day old man." She joked.
"Who is that?" He asked pointing to Melanie.
"That... is my friend."
"Just your friend?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Why is she here?"
"She needed a ride home but this was closer so we stopped here first." Zara was growing a little agitated with the interrogation.
"You could've dropped her off first," he said sipping from his beer, "besides aren't you going to be here for a while?"
"No, I hadn't planned on it."
"Why not Z, it's Father's day. What more important things could you possibly have planned on this day? This day is about me so if you had other plans with your friend then they aren't nearly as important right now."
Zara was completely taken aback. The tone of her father's voice had raised a few notches. She was so fed up with her father and his intolerance for her lifestyle. She doesn't know why she'd expected him to act different every time she came around. Some things just would never change. She simply shook her head and stormed toward the car. "Let's go." She said as she walked past Melanie and grabbed her hand.
"Hey, your parents are looking I don't think we should be holding hands because I told them that we were just friends." Melanie noticed Zara's expression, "Are you okay?"
"I don't care what they see and yes I'm fine. I just want to get out of here." They climbed into the car and sped off.
They pulled up to Melanie's destination. The entire car ride had been silent mostly. They sat there for a minute, both collecting their thoughts. Melanie turned to Zara, "I liked you better before we went to see your father. What happened there?"
Zara shook her head, "My father is just very close-minded that's all."
"Well I hope he didn't upset you too bad because I would really love to hang with you again."
Zara looked up to face Melanie her face was a little closer than usual. "Wouldn't you love to see me again, Zara?" Her voice was intoxicating to Zara. She could get drunk off the sound of her vocals; all of her vocals.
"Of course."
"Well," Melanie pulled Zara's hand from her pocket and fetched a pen from her purse. She scribbled her number on her palm.
Zara nodded and made eye contact with the beautiful woman. The sexual tension was growing increasingly. Zara was staring at the girl's plump lips. Suddenly, Melanie leaned in and softly placed her lips over Zara's and let her tongue trace her bottom lip. Right when Zara was just starting to kiss back the girl pulled away with a sly smile on her face. "Call me sometime okay?"
Zara watched the girl strut away. Her physique was mesmerizing. Zara mouthed the words oh... shit in excitement as she touched her lips. She can't believe how much had happened in one day! First she met her, she talked to her, and then she kissed her! Now Zara had no choice but to come back, that kiss had her wanting more.
That girl sure knew how to tease...
