Chapter 8

Zara massages Melanie's scalp as she runs her fingers through her voluminous soft curls. She watches as she lays unconscious on her chest. She was basically thinking how happy she was in the moment until she turned to check her alarm clock. She hissed under her breath and slipped from the bed trying not to wake her girlfriend. She threw on a track suit and a pair of Nike's. She hurried out the door so she could be back before Melanie awakes.

She ran 14 laps around the block for a mile. She checked the time every now and then hoping to be done in time to head to the coffee shop and work on some of her writing. It was 7 am in the morning; she figured her princess would sleep late given the events last night. It was still settling with her that she could confess claim over a beautiful women she could, without hesitation, say that she loved. Zara imagined how their relationship would pan out. She thought about how in the future she'd learn more things about her princess, only making her love for her grow. She thought about how they'd walk around shamelessly together, hand in hand.

She finished up her laps and grabbed some bagels from the corner bakery.

She got into her apartment and placed the bagels on the nightstand. That might've been a bad idea on her part because the fresh smell of the bagels woke Melanie.

"Hey, where are you going?" Melanie croaked as she squinted through the morning sun beams.

"Good morning baby, I didn't mean to wake you up. It's kind of early. I just got back from my morning run. I just left something to eat for when you woke up and now I'm about to go to the café to get some writing done."

"You can't get any done here?"

"Well, I usually write at the café. That's my scene. Plus they have free Wi-Fi."

Zara took a quick shower and got dress. She kissed Melanie on her smooth forehead and headed towards the door, "I'll be back in a few."

"Don't meet a pretty brown skin while you're there."

"Already did that." Zara chuckled and shut the door behind her.

Ideas were just flooding Zara as she typed away. It was going on lunch time and she had gotten a lot done. She got a text from her princess a few moments ago saying that she was finally awake and missing her company.

"Coffee?" A busty blonde haired woman asked as she sat down next to Zara, interrupting her typing. Zara looked at the girl and instantly recognized her face. She couldn't remember her name but she hadn't even thought of the girl ever since she'd met Melanie.

"Yeah, sure." The girl pushed a small cup of brown coffee towards Zara's with a manicured finger. "I got it just how you like it."

"Sweet, thanks." Zara looked around closing her laptop. She checked her phone at her side for any messages from her baby. "Expecting someone?"

The girl tilted her head up at Zara as she rested her hand on her knee. Zara started to feel uncomfortable sitting near this young woman. "No, not really."

"You haven't called. I've kind of been lonely lately. I miss you," The woman slid her hand further up Zara's leg and squeezed where she stopped. She leaned in making sure her cleavage was visible as her breast pushed up against Zara's arm. "I'm kind of busy right now." Zara mumbled pulling herself away from the lady.
