The parasite

chapter 7

     * Their is more but it won't show and is cut off I'll try to fix it but when I have time.

I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling and prayed todays plan would work because I wasn't ready to be tied down and killed for something I couldn't control.     I got out of bed and gathered some of my clothes from my floor. I kicked Suri's leg and she glared at me from behind the blanket.  She said " No, I'm going back to bed. "      I was brushing my teeth when I said " We have school."   She groaned and I smiled as I brushed my head and I watched as she gathered her clothes and walked to the guest bathroom.   I washed my face and looked into the mirror and my eyes were still there ugly red color. I brushed a eye lash from my cheek before walking down stairs.  I started the coffee and noticed my mom had left a note on the door of the fridge.      She was going to work late again tonight and I knew something was up but I couldn't really talk to her so I left it as that.  I opened the door and looked at the water bottle.      I prayed again before taking tat and the milk from the fridge to make my coffee,      Suri came down the stairs in are school uniform and  I handed her a cup of coffee.  I bit into my bagel and looked at the bottle again .

Suri voice came to my ears and said " Don't worry. Have faith in my healing skills."     I nodded and I said " We better get are stuff and leave."       She nodded and I moved are butts outside were I heard the sound of a helicopter.  I felt my mind go blank and I ran back inside and turned on my TV.  I froze as his face came into view and I fell to my feet. I saw his family and they were crying and the sound of them crying broke my heart. 

We were sitting on the roof.  It was cold outside but what do you except in Alaska.    I laid there staring at the stars.  Suri said "   I wonder what could be inside of you."     She looked at me and I looked away.    She grabbed my hand and said "  We'll find out....schools out then we should try out the drink with some training."    I looked at the girl before and sighed and said " Alright.....what are you going do?"   

She smiled and I was a bit scared.  I toke a breath and got up from my roof and She guided me down and made me wait behind my own house.   I waited and she came out with some of my old softballs and she said "  First, Let's start with seeing if you could hold them and or throw them back."     She laid them by her feet.   She step back and threw one and it hit my right leg pretty hard.   I didn't feel anything and then she hit my near my head and then when she threw the third one I stopped it mid air.     I froze and She said " Alright, How long can you hold it?"    She watched as I held it in front of me and then dropped it.     I felt a wet feeling coming from my nose and I touched it to reveal a bit a blood.      I said "  Um,   Suri."         I looked up and Suri was dancing and jumping around.   She ran to me and jumped onto me and hugged me.    " You did it...you're bleeding but you did it."      I smiled and said "    Now let's get you some of that drink and see what it'll do."    I nodded and I grabbed the bottle from her hands and toke a sip.   I felt a  calming sensation and  I nodded as she threw a couple more then after the sixth one not only did it stopped but it swung right back a t her and knocked her in the head.  " SURI."  I yelled and I went straight to her and her head had a small bump and I said " I'm so sorry." She raised her hand and said " At least we know that your abilities are only stoped for about a six minute period.   I said " Let's go get you Ice."      Blond streamed down her nose thick and red.   I felt so bad,  I did this to her.

I laid in my bed, My heart beating a thousand miles per hour.   I looked at the clock and it read 2:00 am and    I toke a breath.  I looked down at Suri and she was fast asleep,  I toke a deep breath and then got up my bed.   I looked around my room and the mess was huge.  Glass laid against the floor along with my clothes and I was happy that school was out another two days.  Because,...because of the murder of that boy. They  had canceled school.   I felt guilt in my mind and I ran my fingers through my hair before looking down at Suri.    She told me it wasn't my fault, but it was probable me.. I was the one who killed that kid...I had to be from what I did now and the aftermath of his death it made sense to me.     I felt a pinch in the back of my head and my head began to hurt and I crumbled to the ground,    It felt like someone was taking my head and squeezing it very hard.   I screamed and then I heard the front door begin to bang and I heard the sound of foot steps and I couldn't turn.   My body began to shake and I felt the movement of my skin and it felt like someone was tearing it piece by piece.      I closed my eyes and I felt hands on my skin and it made my pain much worst.  I said " Let GO..SURI LET GO."  The hands left off my shoulders and When I turned my head. I stood and Suri had fear in her eyes.

I looked down at my Hand white scales ran up them with long claws sprouting out at the tips.  I swallowed and looked at Suri.     She ran to me and she touched my hand and her hand felt foreign on my skin.  Her hand was cold against the hot skin or scales.  I don't know what to name them.  " This is new!."    I looked at her and said "  You Think."     She ignored my rude remark and She touched it.   "  We really need to check you out."  She said as she turned my hand over looking over my pale palm.  It was pink in appearance and She ran her hand over it and my hand twitched.    " Look at it this way..You didn't break anything."  She said trying to make a bad situation a little better. She stood up and I looked at my hand moving my fingers and suddenly a burn went through my hand and a pinch in my head occured.  My hand lost it's scales and my nails shrunk back into my fingers tips.   

"What the hell is going on with me right now."

Suri threw a coat at me and said "  That's what were going to find out."

" Where our we going."  I asked as I placed the coat on and Suri turned towards me and smiled.

" Were going to School?"  She said as We walked out the house.
