a month have past and nanami was now getting used to living as a landlord, it's amusing actually, how tomoe follow every nanami's command, just like a dog wanting to please it's master, it was fun making tomoe a laughing stack, but now but one rising conflict is now currently occurring....

"nope never will i wear that stupid thing again!"

"and your reason?"

"because it's stupid and pink"

"you know you're the most irritating and picky person i've ever met nanami"

"WOULD THE BOTH OF YOU JUST SHUT UP!!!!" Y/N crack, already fullboth of nanami and tomoe's shits, wanting nothing but peace in shrine.

Y/N just inhaled and exhaled deeply while rubbing her temples in irritation

"how about this, you. Tomoe can just pretend to be another transferred student and come with Nanami to school, so the chance of Nanami getting hurt or god-napped  will be low."

"bu-"

"no buts, the excuse, "but the shrine!" is so old and besides onikiri, kotetsu and i are here to take care of it! So  don't woorry about a thing."

tomoe had the dumbfounded look while Y/N patting his head

"now sho~ sho~ the both of you will be late for school~"

she cooed having a creepy smile that would make any human/yokai tremble

minutes have pass and Tomoe and Nanami was already in their respected uniform, Tomoe was still in tge process of tying his shoelace while nanami just strap on hers, ready to leave Y/N then give thier bentos and bid them farewell

"bye guys! study well!"

"thank you Y/N!! goodluck with the shrine!"

Nanami said waving her arms tomoe just slyly wave a hand. they walk until they were out of sight, Y/N  sighed contently thanking to the gods that the shrine would finally have the peace that she was wishing just moments ago.

she walked back to the shrine to finally finish the shrine works that would have to be finish, she noticed Onikiri and Kotetsu were outside playing with each other, she can't help but to escape a small smile, the two were still a children by heart, even with how many centuries has past their childishness hasn't gone away and it be always stay that way.

Y/n then decided to let the two shrine spirits have their fun and leave them alone

Walking towards to the living room (since it's the room you have to past through to get to the kitchen) she notice a piece of paper on the table, curious she picked the paper and read it, as it reads:

please go to the store and re-stock the following;

food

personal things for nanami

etc, etc...

that would be all, please don't do anything stupid, and disguised your tails and ears please, don't make the same mistake again.

ahhhh i remembered it like it was yesterday, i can still remember the scared yet interesting looks on the peoples faces, it is still fresh in my mine.

I just shrugged it off like it was nothing and just a snap of my fingers my ears and tail disappeared, walking through a full-body mirror I examined myself head-to-toe making sure everything is in place and normal for humans that is.
