"Harry..." Evee whispered harshly, patting his upperarm eagerly. "Sweety..."
The prince groaned, rubbing his eyes and turning towards his wife. Opening his eyes, he tried to look through to darkness towards his wife. "What is it? Is it time?"
"No." The blonde groaned, staring at the ceiling. "I just wanted to tell you we're December 24th."
"What?" Harry questioned, looking at the annoyed face of his wife.
"We're Monday already. He should have been here yesterday." Evee grumbled, shifting her legs off the bed, trying to get up. It took her the full two minutes to finally sit up straight. She breathed heavily, "If he decides to enter this world on Christmas, I'm plunging him back in there."
Harry tried not to laugh, "Why?"
"No one should have to share their birthday with a holiday. I once had a friend who's birthday was on New Year. No one ever remembered that it was her birthday! They were all like, happy New Year! Oh wait right, it's your birthday as well." Evee spoke, standing up straight. "And today is Christmas Eve, so now, he'll just have to wait until December 26th to come out. There is no other way." She mumbled, marching towards the bathroom to pee for the third time in four hours.
"I doubt he'll listen." Harry couldn't help but chuckle, shaking his head.
"I'm his mother." He heard her shout from the bathroom.
"Yes, I am aware of that." The prince held back a smile, turning over to his side once again to close his eyes.

Evee eyes widened in surprise when she head the doorbell ring. She first thought it would be her brother who arrived yesterday with his family but opening the door, she was delighted to see Catherine and William. "As you can see, still no baby." Evee opened her arms and pointed towards her huge stomach.
William couldn't help but laugh, "We're sorry for dropping by so early."
"Don't be, come in. Harry's having breakfast in the kitchen. I'm sulking in the living room. We're happy." The blonde sarcastically spoke.
Kate threw back her head in laughter, stepping into the hallway as the blonde closed the door behind the couple. The December air was growing colder each day and Evee heard on the television that they might get a white Christmas. "We're here so early because we have to leave for Sandringham." Kate scrunched her nose in dislike, "I had hoped we'd be able to stay here, with you nearly exploding."
"I have decided that the baby can only come out on December 26nd so don't worry." Evee spoke casually, entering the kitchen alongside her brother in law and Catherine.
"She doesn't want the baby to come out on Christmas." Harry mumbled, taking a piece of toast and spreading some marmalade on top of it.
"Why?" William questioned.
"I don't want him to share his birthday with a holiday. People will forget about his special day then." Evee explained.
"Believe me, they won't." Kate smiled, "We couldn't get out of the Christmas morning church ceremony but we will return as soon as possible. We should be back on the afternoon of Christmas itself. Dinner with the family is tonight at Sandringham anyways."
"Father and Camilla will return tomorrow afternoon as well." William spoke with a little hesitation. He felt bad for leaving his brother on the most important day of his life.
Harry looked up, "Don't worry about it Will, I know you did everything you could. You'll be back in a little more than 24 hours. Father and you have obligations, I'm aware of that." The ginger smiled, trying to comfort his brother just a little.
"Still. I don't feel comfortable leaving you two." William spoke, "That's my nephew and godchild in there, I'd like to see him before the public does."
"I promise you'll see him before the public does. Family first, they'll just have to wait if you guys aren't back yet." Harry answered with determination. He wanted to have that moment, he wanted to introduce his child towards his family first. They needed to see him before he was handed over towards the press and the world.
"24 hours." The Duke of Cambridge spoke.
"24 hours." His brother answered, nodding his head. "Next time please make sure before making a child, you calculated the date and make sure it's not on a holiday."
"Well... He was supposed to be here on December 23rd." Evee mumbled, resting her hands upon her stomach and turning watching the grey sky outside the kitchen window.
"Oh here we go again..." Harry answered.

Harry wandered around the house, stopping by the nursery they had decorated themselves. It was located right next to their bedroom. He noticed all the bags ready to bring along towards the hospital. He knew inside one of them was the same little outfit he had worn himself when he was born. The same knitted white cloth to wrap his baby in.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. He knew time was running out, he would be here soon, he could feel it in the depth of his heart. He had tried his best to calm his wife down, to make sure she felt supported upon this heavy task. He had remained stress-free, the calm itself. Inside though, he could feel his own heart beat in his throat.
Gently brushing his fingertips upon the wood of the crib he looked around the nursery. In less than a few days, he knew there would be a little human lying inside of it. Something he had part in making. Something he would love so passionately. His blue eyes shifted towards the wall on the right. His wife thought it would have been a good idea to place some family photos along in the nursery.
'So they could watch over the baby when he's asleep and we're not in the room.' That was her explanation. He thought it was beautiful.
He didn't mind really, staring at the black and white photos on the wall, he thought they fit in the room marvellously. Everything except some toys and bears were white. Everything except the pictures on the wall. He smiled, staring at himself as a baby. His mother keeping him close, her arms protectively around him, she looked incredibly happy.
"We'll be fine, right?" He mumbled, looking at his late mother. "You'll make sure they'll both be well, right? Bringing them both back home to me, healthy?"
He didn't even have time to rest his thoughts, his head quickly turned towards his wife's voice, screeching through Nottingham Cottage. "HAAARRRYY!" He could feel his own feet running down the stairs, feeling a slight hint of fear waving through his bones.
She stood in the middle of the kitchen, holding on towards the counter with both hands. A look of slight fear in her green eyes. "I think my water broke." Her eyes shifted towards the puddle underneath her feet, careful not to slip in it. "This is happening. Oh god, this is happening." She mumbled, "He wasn't supposed to be here before December 26th."
If he wouldn't have been so shocked, he would have laughed at her. He swallowed roughly, nodding his head. "This is happening. I'm calling James and Bob." He rambled, not knowing what to do first. Harry took a deep breath, realising that he needed to be calm for the two of them. "Let's get you seated first. We still have time, the doctor said we'd have time. I will call James and Bob and get everything sorted so we can go to the hospital as quick as possible." He spoke, grabbing her hands and gently escorting her towards the chairs.
"We're really doing this, aren't we?" Evee spoke, trying to have some reassurance. Trying to find some strength in her husband's eyes.
Harry lowered himself so that his eyes were on the same level of his as she sat on the chair. "We are and we'll be fine." He nodded his head, resting his hand upon her cheek and kissing her gently. "Let's have a baby."
Her hand quickly covered his as she nodded her head, already trying to hold back tears, "Okay."
