The Duke and Duchess of Clarence and Avondale's little prince has finally arrived! The golden easel didn't come out immediately- since Evee had given birth in the middle of the night and we suspect it might have taken some time to reach the rest of the family, who are currently at Sandringham Estate, celebrating Christmas, but now we finally have all the information we needed!

After a long and highy anticipated wait, it is finally official! Harry and Evee finally welcomed their first child. Following tradition of Harry's mother, the Princess of Wales, an official announcement was placed outside Buckingham Palace on Christmas Morning, 9am sharp which tells us all about the new royal baby.

The other, official bulletin announced the royal baby's weight, time of birth, and perhaps the most anticipated piece of information - the gender!

As revealed on the bulletin, the little prince weighs 7lb 15oz and was born last night on December 24th at 11.48pm GMT. A real Christmas gift for us all, but most importantly for the golden couple.

The notice was printed on a piece of creamy A4 size paper, adorned with the official Buckingham Palace heading and the signatures of the medical staff who helped deliver the newborn. Not surprisingly, most of the staff also helped the Duchess of Cambridge give birth in the past.

For more information about the little baby and his first pictures, we will probably have to delay another 24 hours. The couple is probably waiting for the rest of the Royal family to arrive and meet their new family member. We do have some pictures of them walking the pavements towards the annual Christmas Morning church ceremony near Sandringham. They all seemed in a bright mood, so we can only assume they already knew the wonderful news. Questions about the expecting royal baby and the absence of one of Britain's favourite couples were kindly disregarded.

Even though it is Christmas, the front of the St-Mary's hospital is already packed with photographers and well-wishers. Not surprisingly, the newly parents sent out blankets, hot cocoa and pastries for everybody waiting in the cold.

Queen Elizabeth already upgraded her great grandchild as a prince. If she had not taken this action, the little boy would be known as a Lord (enter name) Mountbatten-Windsor.

Wild suspicions about the name have been going on since the announcement of the pregnancy, most lingering, after the death of the Duke of Edinbrough, towards Philip. If this would be correct, the prince, who is sixth in line for the throne (after his grandfather Prince Charles, his uncle Prince William, cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte and his own father Prince Harry) his official name would be Prince Philip of Clarence and Avondale. Other guesses are Nicholas or Daniel.

We, The Daily Mail are rooting for a little Prince Philip and have our bets placed on this one. It would not come as a surprised since The Duke of Edinbrough passed away last Summer and both parents were very close to him. The king of Belgium is also named Philip, which ties the name to the little prince's mother as well.

We can only wait in high anticipation for the first pictures to arrive and see the lovely couple with their newborn, who hopefully has the Spencer hair. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish them all the best of luck.
