From the moment the doctor actually left the house, Evee couldn't sit still. Her stomach was heavy and she still felt sort of dizzy but it seemed as if adrenaline took over her body. She rubbed her hands in anticipation, pacing through the living room, holding on to the back of the sofa.

She was going to be a mother.

There was a something growing inside of her. There was a little human being growing inside her belly. Something that Harry and her had created. Something entirely of their own. Her hand unconsciously placed itself upon her stomach, rubbing the soft spot.

The doctor said she would be showing soon.

She only thought the pounds she gained were from the honeymoon. She had eaten so much cheese in those two weeks and a half. She had tried to watch her weight the last months before the wedding, it was the first time she could actually let go again. Not that she went into a binge eating process, but still, she was allowed to eat cheese now. The only thing was, the weight wasn't a result of the cheese, it was the result of a pregnancy.

How could she been so stupid? She heard stories of women that knew instantly they were pregnant. But she, she hadn't felt a thing. She couldn't help but wonder if she was a bad mother already. Evee bit her lip, shaking her head. Her hands rubbing her tired eyes.

She had to tell Harry, they had to go to the hospital in five hours. Now that the doctor was gone, her worries seemed to heighten themselves. What if everything wasn't alright? She had fallen down so many times during skiing, she still had the bruises to prove it.

"Ma'am. Is everything alright?" Her security guard questioned in concern, looking at his boss pacing around.

Her tired eyes stared at him, a big smile upon her face. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Could you- You wouldn't happen to know when my husband arrives home, would you?"

"He said it was a very short meeting, he should be home shortly. He informed me he'd be home by eleven thirty." Bobby looked at Evee in concern, "Maybe you should lay down until he arrives, I will let you know. If you want me to call him now..."

"No, no. Don't call him, he should be home soon then." Her eyes shifted towards the vintage clock in the corner of the room. It was nearly eleven thirty. "You're right. I should probably sit a little bit." Evee mumbled, walking towards the couch and placing herself on it. "Bobby, please sit with me."

The bodyguard looked at the blonde, immediately replying to her request with placing himself in the opposite sofa. He stared at her nervous eyes. "Are you sure everything is alright?"

The Duchess smiled encouragingly, "I'm fine. Just a little dizzy." She took a deep breath, silence overtaking the room. "You, you don't think I'm stupid right?"

"No, ma'am, of course not."

"Okay." She bit her lip, nodding her head. Silence once again took over the room when the bodyguard noticed his boss staring in front of her, her pale face looking out the window. Her left hand was unconsciously rubbing her belly and immediately the man knew why the doctor was here. He tried to stay as professional as possible, not letting the Duchess know of any of his suspicions.

When the front door finally opened, Bobby stretched his legs, looking at the blonde. "I will see you on Monday." He nodded his head, trying not to congratulate her nor wish her good luck. She would see right through him if he did.

"Okay, sorry for interrupting your weekend, Bobby." Evee smiled, "I appreciate it. I'll see you on Monday."

"It's no problem, ma'am." The man nodded his head one final time, he turned around just in time to see the prince enter the room.
