The Monkees have meant so much to me over the years. I discovered them in 1986 when I was 6 years old. They were my first boy band expierence and Davy Jones was my first boy band crush. Their music was always catchy and it had a beat you could dance to. Their TV show always made me laugh and I had only wished it had lasted more than just two seasons. But what we do have in those two seasons is great to give you a pick me up if you are feeling down that day. I have heard their movie "Head" is now a cult classic. I haven't personally watched it yet but I know I will someday. For now I will leave you with a song of theirs I love hearing and the video version I like that goes with it is a nice representation of 4 down to earth guys in a band we all love called The Monkees. - Saturday's Child music video.
And as tribute I leave two pictures of the guy who started it all for me getting into boy bands and music in general. - Davy Jones. (RIP - 1945-2012)
What do the Monkees mean to you? Let me know below.
If anyone has any ideas or anything I should cover in this book let me know. I am out of ideas right now. Thanks for reading so far.
