I was asked to write this for the Monkee_Around now Dolenz_Girl wattpad account. It was requested. I know it's not all that great as the subject matter of an Eating Disorder is not something I write about nor have I written about before this request. I gave it a shot and personally not too thrilled with how it came out at this point in time. I know I can write better than this. I may revamp it someday but for now here it is.

Ashley, a petite girl with blonde hair and blue eyes or Ash as she was known by her closest friends would be the life of any party. In fact it was during one such party that she met a young English boy named Davy Jones. He in turn introduced her to his three roommates Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Mike Nesmith. They had been friends with Ashley now for about 6 months. During a most recent party, Davy took notice that Ashley would only eat some snacks but never a full helping of anything if a meal was served at the party then excuse herself to the bathroom. Once she exited she would look paler than when she went in there.
"Hey Ash, I noticed you were sick just now. Is everything alright?" Davy asked with concern.
"Yeah everything is fine why?" Ashley replied trying to hide her guilt.
Just then Micky, Peter and Mike approached Davy and Ashley.
"I've kept quiet for too long. I think something else is going on if you ask me. I noticed you have been rushing into the bathroom and looking really pale after you come out." Mike blurted out.
"You have some sort of sickness Ash? We can take you to a doctor." Micky added.
"She doesn't need a doctor for her problem she needs a friends support to curtail her eating disorder." Mike replied crossing his arms.
"I couldn't eat once because a girl made me so nervous. She was so beautiful." Peter recalled looking off into the distance, smiling at the thought of Valerie.
"Not now Peter. This is more serious than a little crush. Ash has a real struggle going on here and as her friends we need to help her get over this obstacle." Mike pointed out.
"I think she is beautiful just the way she is." Peter smiled, grabbing and squeezing Ashley's hand in support.
"Thanks guys but I don't have a problem really. I just need to get over this little eating issue on my own. You guys are the greatest friends for being so concerned though." Ashley replied.
"Nonsense. What caused this eating disorder in the first place?" Mike asked as Micky interrupted, "You're thin as a rail now babe."
"I look in a mirror and all I see is fat." Ashley turned from side to side.
"Fat? Where? I don't see one ounce of anything that shouldn't be there. It's all perfectly proportioned if you ask me." Micky gestured to her body as he smiled.
"Disproportioned you mean?" Ashley sneared.
"No perfectly proportioned. Everything is where it should be. I think you are a perfectly built woman." Micky smirked.
"Thanks for the compliments Mick, but I don't need any help." Ashley affirmed.
"And pigs fly. I really care about you Ash and I want you to overcome this issue and with my help... uh, our help. I mean that's what friends are for right?" Mike reiterated.
"Mike's right Ash, please let us help you." Micky piped in.
"Ok, I guess you guys are right I do need help. Thank you for being such great friends to me. I love you guys." Ashley replied hugging Mike as the other guys joined the hug one at a time.
It took some time but within a few weeks time, the Monkees helped Ashley overcome her insecurities of her body image and she felt better about herself and her appearance. A short time later after she got better Micky even got up the nerve to ask Ashley out. They are now happily engaged. Micky and Ashley have never been happier to look forward to their future together and start their family.
