Chapter 12

Chapter 12:

Loki and I walked down the aisle as everybody cheered. I was finally married to the love of my life.

I'm 7 months pregnant with a girl. We decided on a name, Rain Elizabeth. She's probably going to have powers.... Or she's going to be a goddess. I hope she comes out human. Plain old normal human.

*2 months later*

I was in my hospital room holding Rain when my mother walked in. "I couldn't be more proud of you." She said.

"Don't mother. Ever since I had my powers you wanted nothing to do with me. You thought I was a freak and should be locked up in a cell, but now I'm all over the news and all that crap you finally want something to do with me? No. Not going to happen. I suggest you leave before I call hospital security. Goodbye mother." I said. She gave me a said look and Loki walked in. She paused and looked at him with wide eyes.

"I said goodbye mother."

She walked out. "Mother?" Loki asked.

"Yea. Mother." I said. "Do you know when they are going to bring Rain back in here? I kinda miss her." I said taking a drink of water.

"I'll go check." He said. Ever since the marriage he's been wearing jeans and T-shirts. Regular stuff like that. May I say, he looks mighty fine with and with them off too.

"They should be bringing her in any minute. Oh, and I heard that." Loki said as he walked in.

"Heard what?" I asked smiling knowing what he heard. He came closer to me and bent down to kiss me.

"Going 9 months without doing anything to you was horrifying."

"I bet." I said and the nurse walked in.

She handed me Rain. "Thank you." I said.

"You're welcome. She's really beautiful, looks just like you and has the black hair like the father. Just beautiful." The nurse said.

"Thank you." Loki said. She walked out.

Just then a water droplet came up from my cup and splashed Rain in the face. She didn't start to cry or nothing. "Loki! Was that you? It sure as hell wasn't me!" I said.

"It was me! I swear!" He put his hands up in surrender.

"Then who was it?" I asked.

Then Rain opened her eyes and started smiling. She put her hand toward the cup and a drop of water came to her. "No!" I yelled.

"What?" Loki asked.

"I don't want her to have powers like us!" I said.

"Why? It's fascinating. I started this early with my mischief." He said.

"What is she's the goddess of water?" I asked.

"Could be. Or she's like you and has everything."

"Could be. If that's the care then her name suits her."

"Yup." Loki said then kissed me.

"When am I going to meet your parents? I want to go to Asgard, like Jane."

"Maybe in a couple of months." Loki said.

"Fine...." I said and Pepper walked in the room.

Tony and Pepper have been dating since the fight. Natasha and Clint are together but I don't know about Steve. I think he's still single.

"Let me see the baby!" She squealed. I handed her Rain.

"She looks so much like you and she has Loki's hair! Aww!" She said.

"Hey Phoenix. Can I talk to you?" Tony asked me.

"Yea sure." I said and Loki helped me get up. We went out in the hall.

"I want to ask Pepper to marry me, but I need your help."

"Aww! Really?" I said.

"Yea." He said.
