Chapter 1:

*Beep, beep, beep.*

"Ugh. It's 9 o'clock already?" I said getting out of bed. Work. The most horrible thing in this world. I walked to the bathroom and took off my close. I got in the shower and I made water bath me. Yea. That's right. I can bath without the stupid shower.

I should probably mention that I have powers/abilities. I keep on getting new ones every week. It's weird. I got out and dried off. I walked out of the bathroom to my room. I put my robe on and walked to the kitchen.

"Rusty!" I yelled. My dog is a golden retriever. I let him outside and filled up his food and water bowl. I put waffles in the toaster and let Rusty back in. My waffles popped up and I grabbed a plate and the syrup out of the fridge. I put the waffles on the plate and then put the syrup on them.

I then quickly ate and rinsed my plate off.

*Gush* Went the wind that I had come to blow dry my hair. Ha. Get it? Blow dry because the wind blows? No? Okay. I thought it was funny. I picked out my khakis and my white shirt out of my closet. I put them on and grabbed my black apron and put it around my waist. I put my black shoes on and grabbed my hair tie off of my dresser.

I walked to the bathroom and put my long red hair in a ponytail. I brushed my teeth and put some makeup on. I walked out and turned the light off. "Bye Rus. See you when I get home." I said to Rusty as he was eating.

I walked up the stairs to the roof. I jumped off and flew to Panera. I got there and landed on the roof. Nobody knows about my abilities except for my best friend, Cole.

I walked down the ladder to the back door. I walked in and I heard "LILLYBEAR!" I knew right away it was Cole.

"COLEPOO!" I yelled.

"I haven't seen you in forever!" he said.

"It was just yesterday." I said.

"I bet we are going to be slow today. It's a Tuesday." He said eating a bagel.

"Yea. How many have we had so far?" I asked.

"2. With no tip." Cole said holding up the tip jar.

"Turds." I said and ate a bagel as well.

*Ding* The bell over the door rang. A man with a black hat and a black coat walked in. "How may I help you?" I asked.

"1 large coffee and a cinnamon bagel to go." The creepy man said.

"Alright. 5.50 please." I said as he handed me a ten. I have him back $4.50 and he out all of it in the tip jar. "Thanks." I then said.

Cole came back with the coffee and the bagel. "Have a great day!" Cole called as the man walked out.

"People these days." I said as I finished my bagel.

"Lilly?" Cole asked.

"Yea?" I said. Then he came closer to me and put his hands on my face. He then crushed his lips to mine. I pushed him away and he have me this look I could never forget.

"What the frick?" I said.

"Lil, I love you. I always have, ever since the day we became best friends." He said.

"Cole..." I began. "I'm sorry you feel that way but I don't like you that way." I said trying to out him down as easy as possible. He walked away.

5 horrible hours later. Yes! it was time to go home. "Bye Cole. See you tomorrow." I said walking out the back to roof. I jumped and made my way home when suddenly something ran into me making me fall back on top of AT&T.

"HEY BUDDY. WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING! GET IN YOUR OWN LANE!" I said about to jump off the building to go back home then a metal hand grabbed my arm.

"You're coming with me." A man's voice said. I turned around to see who it was.

"I- Iron M- Man.... T- Tony S- Stark..." I managed to blurt out.
