K.O sat in the same spot throughout the rest of the day and didn't move. Neither Enid or Rad came to check up on him, probably because they assumed he was okay for whatever reason. He let out a sigh and looked around, upset that everyone else was currently on the other side of the store.

He looked down at his casts and growled to himself. He never had a cast on before, and he didn't think he'd ever get one.

He looked at the wall behind him and stared blankly at it for a moment, then he placed his good hand against the wall and started to scoot against it with his good leg, trying to stand up. After that, he took a step forward and stood on the ground with both his legs for a moment before falling back down.

He groaned and grabbed his leg that had a cast, but that's all he did. He didn't cry, he didn't even feel anything inside of him telling him to cry, he just grabbed his leg and groaned for a moment, and that was it.

He slowly crawled back against the wall and sat there again, not moving until his mom showed up to take him home.

"Hey, K.O," she said, picking him up. He sadly waved in response as she carried him over her shoulder and sat him in the car, buckling him up.

Once she got in, she looked at K.O for a moment. "Hey, are you okay, K.O?" She asked. "I mean, you've been a little quiet lately."

"Huh? Yeah, I'm alright," he said. "I'm just thinking about some things."

Carol pat K.O's head and started the car, and the two were quiet until they got home. She got out of the car and carried K.O to his bedroom and laid him down in his bed. "Get some sleep, okay K.O?" She said, kissing his forehead.

"Okay, mom," he said as she covered him up and turned off his light. Once she was gone, he sighed and slowly fell asleep.

K.O stood in the middle of the plaza by himself, darkness surrounding him on all sides. He looked around, trying to find a way out of the area he was in. There was laughter behind him, but he didn't turn around.

"Come on, stop trying already," a voice said from behind him, startling him. "You're obviously worthless, nobody cares about you. Why are you even here?"
