The challenge (Natsu x Lucy) [COMPLETED]

Lucy's P.O.V

    I got home around 10. It was too late to go to school and I didn't feel like it. As soon as I got home I collapsed on my bed and almost immediately fell asleep. When I woke up I was starving so I made myself pancakes and ate almost 8. Later that day I called Levy and she was really worried about me. Apparently Natsu had told her about my situation and he was going crazy. I asked her if she knew his phone number but by the time she told me he was already at my door.

    He didn't even let me open it, it was kicked down and he pounced on me, showering me with kisses and a suffocating hug. I laughed into his shirt and we both started crying. It was a really nice moment.

"I'm sorry for saying all those things to you." I whispered.

"I deserved it, I'm sorry for not going after you," He buried his face in my neck. "And breaking down your door."

"It's okay." I laughed.

"Lucy?" I heard a familiar voice say.

    I looked over to the doorway. There he was. I hadn't seen him forever. He arched an eyebrow when he saw Natsu on top of me, hugging me. 

"Loke!" I squealed.

    Natsu rolled off of me and stood up. He held his hand out for me and I grabbed it, he pulled me up. All traces of tears had left his face, he looked angry and confused.

"Oh, um, Natsu, this is Loke," I turned back to the caramel-head. "Loke, this is Natsu."

"Pleasure to meet you, Natsu." He held out his hand.

"Same." Natsu shook his hand.

"I heard about your kidnapping and got over here as fast as I could, but I see you escaped." Loke folded his arms across his chest.

"Yeah, I was taken back to my fathers." I replied.

"Well, I'm glad you're okay, would you like to go to dinner?" He asked.

"Woah, buddy, I understand your friends and all, but sorry, she can't go." Natsu butted in.

"Why's that?" Loke arched an eyebrow.

"She's my girlfriend." Natsu frowed.

"So? We'll just be going as friends, you can come along if you'd like." Loke offered.

"No thanks." Natsu declined.

"Natsu..." I looked to him.

"Have fun, I'll see you tomorrow." Natsu pushed past Loke and left.

"He's kind of a moody one, huh?" Loke grinned, stepping over the door to stand in front of me.

"He's really sweet though when you get to know him." I smiled.

"It's good to see you Lucy." Loke said, giving me a soft hug.

"Yeah." I hugged him back.

    He smelled like cologne. He was wearing a black suit and a red tie and his hair was overly gelled like always. I was so happy to see him. We had been best friends since I was a little kid. He was there for me when my dad was being rude to me and he always helped me feel better. The day he left to study abroad almost killed me. I had lost my best friend that day and now he was back.

"You've really grown, huh?" Loke pulled away to look me up and down.

"I guess, you have too, but I see the issue with your hair hasn't." I giggled.

"Issue?" He asked, sarcastically offended.

    We laughed and he ended up fixing my door and then we left for dinner. But I couldn't help but feel bad for Natsu.

    Gray knew where Natsu lived so I went to go visit him. When I reached his house (which wasn't in the best shape) I noticed the door was unlocked. I opened it and walked in. It was almost pitch black inside. I looked around and found the whole house was trashed like one of hose hoarders lived there, but it wasn't as bad, you could see the floor in some places. One room had light coming from it. The door was closed but I could see through the crack in the door. Putting my eye to the opening, I looked inside and almost gasped.

    I left quickly, holding back tears and immediately called Loke. When he picked up I told him all about it. When I got home he was there making hot chocolate. We sat on my bed and he cuddled me. We didn't go farther than hugging though, I wasn't that kind of person and Loke already had a girlfriend. Well, he had girlfriends. 

    One thing I wasn't sure of was how I was going to act when I saw Natsu tomorrow. Would I confront him? Or just ignore him? There was only one way to find out, and that was to just wait.
