The challenge (Natsu x Lucy) [COMPLETED]

(A/N: I felt bad for leaving you guys on that cliffhanger...kind of, so here's an update ^-^)

3rd person's P.O.V

    The next morning, Lucy didn't feel like going to school at all. Sure she had agreed to go to dinner with her childhood best friend who just happened to be male, but that didn't mean Natsu would have to go and do something like that! 

"Morning Lucy." Loke smiled up at her from the floor.

"Oh, I forgot you were here!" Lucy smiled back.

"Don't worry about today, okay? If you want, I can come with you?" Loke reassured, putting his hands behind his head, revealing his shirtless-ness.

"No, I need to do this on my own, besides, I'm afraid you being there would just be worse." Lucy said, slipping out of her bed.

"Alright, but if you don't mind, can I stay at your place for just one more night?" Loke asked.

"Yeah, of course." Lucy nodded and closed the bathroom door behind her.

    The warm shower calmed her down and eased her thoughts. When she was done, Lucy dried off in the bathroom and then changed into her clothes that she brought in with her. It was just a plain, bulky sweater and black leggings. (She also had underwear obviously.)

"You look nice, ponytails are cute on you." Loke commented, giving a playful wink.

"Thanks Loke, feel free to eat anything out of the fridge, use the shower and also," Lucy opened her drawer and pulled out a key. "Here, just in case you leave."

"You're too kind, thanks beautiful." Loke smiled considerately and took the key.

"I'm off to school, I'll see you later?" Lucy asked.

"If you want, I can come to the school and walk you home." Loke offered.

"Sure, I'd like that." Lucy smiled and left.

    On her way to school, Lucy saw Juvia stalking Gray again and just ignored it. She was really dreading school today. When she reached the front, she saw a crowd of people formed in a circle, in the middle, she could catch glimpses of stunning red hair.

"Who's that?" Lucy asked a random person.

"That's Erza Scarlet, she's the student council president and she just got back from vacation." The boy answered.

"Erza, huh?" Lucy muttered to herself.

"Lucy!" Levy called from a distance.

"Hi Levy!" Lucy grinned at the bluenette.

"How was your night?" Levy asked innocently.

    Lucy paused, remembering the events of the night before. She held back tears and she could see Levy's concerned expression watching her.

"Complicated," Lucy answered simply. "Yours?"

"It was weird, I had a dream that Gajeel had asked me to wear a bunny costume for him and he made me dance around while continuously saying Shoobi-doo-ba." Levy answered.

"Like I would ever ask you to do that shrimp, but it's kind of cute to know that you're dreaming about me." Gajeel snickered from behind them.

"Hey!" Levy shouted, looking back at him.

Lucy's P.O.V

    He laughed and walked away. Levy ran after him, leaving me alone again, standing in the middle of the schoolyard. A flash of pink in my left eye's peripheral vision caught my attention. There was only one person who had hair like that.
