Have you ever been the new guy somewhere?

(Alarm goes off)
"Aideeeeen! Come on honey you're going to be late to school. It's your first day; you don't want to be late." My mother yelled from downstairs.
I got out of bed with my grumpiness at a hundred percent. I went to the bathroom and took a two minute bath. After that, I brushed my teeth and put on a pair of jeans and a black shirt that said: "Die". When I went downstairs, I took a toast and while I was putting the butter on the bread, my mom started talking to me.
"So.....? How do you feel?"
"Ok, I guess." I answered vaguely.
"Oh come on cheer up! It's your first day of Senior Year. Yay!" She seemed more excited than me. My mom was beautiful; she had long blond hair, brown eyes, pale skin, she was about three inches smaller than me, that means that she was around 5'3, and she was always positive no matter what. She was the type of person that thinks the glass is half full and not half empty.
"Yeah, yay" I answered sarcastically.
"Oh, honey. Come on, I know it has been tough, but it's just one more year." She reminded me.
"This is the third time that we move in the last two years mom." I said annoyed.
"I know Aiden, but hopefully we can stay here the entire year. I know that since John (my stepfather) these last two years have been rough for us, but at least we're surviving. I promise that if nothing happens this time, we won't go anywhere. Now go change your shirt it's not appropriate to make friends." Mom responded.
"Does it matter? We're probably going to end up moving because of me again." Ever since the events with my stepfather happened, everywhere we go people look at us weird and mom always ends up moving because she doesn't want me feeling bad and I know this is going to be the same.
"Aiden! Look just give it a try, Glenwood is a small town that doesn't have many communications with the outside. Now don't do anything stupid because word travels fast here." She insisted that this time was going to be different.
"Yeah, you got it." I turned my back to her, grabbed my backpack, and started walking to my car. It was a black 2003 Honda Civic, not the best kind of car but at least it moves. When I arrived, I got a hoodie from my back pack and put it on to cover my face. I went to the office to get my schedule and then continued to my first class, History. To my surprise, the professor giving the class was James. He didn't notice me when I entered, but going through the attendance he definitely did. Though he didn't say anything, his facial expression as he read aloud my name gave it away. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, professor James had been by far the best teacher I've had throughout my entire life. After the class was over, he motioned me to stay.
"It's good to see you again Aiden. How are you?" He asked curiously.
"I'm doing fine, it's been a rough couple of years, but nothing my mom and I can't handle." I explained.
"If you don't mind, I would like to talk to you at lunch and catch up." He said.
"Yeah, why not? It's not like I'm going to have friends so..." I said as I lifted my arms and let them fall back down. I went to my next classes and got to meet my new teachers. They were all very boring.
When lunch time came, I went to James's classroom to talk with him just like he asked. We started catching up and I found out that he got transferred to this school because of some trouble he had back in the old one. We talked until this girl, this beautiful girl, entered the classroom asking to speak with James. She had long black wavy hair, pale skin, and light-brown eyes; she wasn't too thin, but also not fat, and the delicate features on her face made her look like an angel, she was just perfect. James, then asked me to give them a minute and wait outside. After a while, she exited the classroom looking sad.
I raised my arm towards her trying to talk, but I couldn't make any word. I stood there with my mouth open trying to talk to her as she flew past me and I couldn't say anything. Immediately I entered the classroom again and noticed James was looking troubled, like whatever happened bothered him.
"James? Hope you don't mind me asking, but why was that girl sad when she left the classroom?" I asked curiously.
"Uuugh.. that poor girl has been through a lot lately and now in the group that she's in, she's being bullied. I know that she deserves to be in your group, twelve A, but nobody listened to me. She talked to me, to see if I could do anything to change her group, but the thing is that I can't. I told her that she will need to prove everyone wrong, but she doesn't believe she can. That's why you saw her like that." James explained.
"Wow... it must be rough." I answered surprised. Who would bully a girl that beautiful?
"Yeah, it is. You know the thing is that I want to help her, but I can't. I hate being this useless. Anyway, you better get going, the bell is about to ring." James said with disappointment in his eyes.
"Yeah you're right, I should get going." I stood up, shook his hand, and took off for my next class. When I left the room, I saw two boys calling out to the beautiful girl.
"Hey, hey fatty! Oh, sorry your name is Ashley, right? My bad, my bad, MY ASS!!" They started laughing and then the other one said, "How does it feel to be the pig queen? Hahaha"
She started crying and entered the girls' bathroom, but her trip was long since everyone just laughed at her as she entered. I stared at the two boys, directly into their eyes. "What are you looking at, new boy? You got a problem?" One of them asked.
Jocks! I hate them, they think they're the best in school just because they have jackets. I turned around and started walking away from them. "That's what I thought, you little pussy."
Calm down Aiden. Don't do anything stupid.

When we got out of school that day, I saw that the boys from earlier that day were following the beautiful girl. Ashley was it?
She was walking, maybe to her house and they were beside her in a Jeep, they kept calling her awful names. I wanted to do something, but I felt nervous because of the girl, so I drove past them.
The next day at lunch, I shadowed her from afar. I had a big crush on her and for some reason I was being a creep about it. She sat alone in a corner where nobody could see her. I sat far from her and drew her in the corner, but that wasn't the only thing I drew. I also drew the boys from the day before and both of them had a knife in their head. I swear I will kill those stupid jocks if they keep messing with her or me. Some minutes later, three girls approached her and treated her like if she was their friend, for a couple of minutes they seemed to get along really well. But the thing is that when they left her, they started talking about her. "She is so fat, ugh I can't stand her." One said; she was short, at best she measured 4'10, she had light-brown skin, and curly hair.
"Yeah! I mean she looks like she ate an entire cow." The second one said; she was a little bigger than the other one, had pale skin and black hair, but I don't know what she was talking about because she had the factions of a monkey.
Then, the third one said,
"Why can't we just leave that poor bitch alone, she's like depressing to be around. From now on, we will not talk to her." She was the tallest one; she had brown skin and had short black hair with some Harry Potter looking ass glasses.I felt bad for the girl since the ones she thought were her friends were talking behind her back and they wanted to leave her alone. For what I could pick up she was alone and had nobody that really was her friend. I got up and left just before she did.
If only I was brave enough to talk to her.
