(Rock hits wall)
I instantly opened my eyes. What was that sound? I looked around, but it was almost pitch black in my bedroom and I couldn't see anything. When my eyes adjusted a little more, I saw a rock on the ground.
What? How did this get up here?
Afterward, I noticed that my window was open. Strange, I thought that I had closed it before going to sleep. I walked towards the window, closed it, and looked outside to see if I saw anything. I couldn't see a damn thing since it was really dark. Suddenly I felt something going down my forehead so I passed three of my fingers where I felt something coming down to my eyes. I stopped it right when it was between my eyebrows. It felt warm, liquid, and a little thick; I brought my hand to the point where I could see what I had on it.
"What is this?" I asked myself as I turned to face the mirror beside the window.
When I could finally see myself in the mirror, I panicked as I saw the word "DIE!" written all over my forehead. I started to feel nauseous at the sight of blood and the immense fear that took over me had me panting.
Who did this? Who wants me dead?
The thing is that I was too afraid to even scream. As I started to clean myself; again I saw something that made me feel even more afraid. The wall beside the door had something written on it, "You'll pay for what you did". It was then that I screamed for my father.
"Damien? What's wrong?" My dad came barging in.
"What's wrong? See for yourself!" I pointed towards the wall that was written.
"What the fuck? Who did this Damien?" I could tell that he was pissed off, but also a little scared.
"I don't know, but I also had something written on my forehead as well. It said DIE!" My mother who stood shocked just outside of the room called the police.
"It's ok Damien, everything is going to be fine, but we must find who did this." We got out of my room and waited for the police in the living room. My mom was really freaking out so my father held her by the shoulders and told her to get a grip of herself.
He could sometimes be such an ass with mom. Instead of being sympathetic, he told her that?
"Tell me everything that happened." The police officer took his note pad and started taking notes of everything I said.
"Well, I was sleeping when all of the sudden a sound woke me up. Someone threw a rock through my window...." He interrupted me.
"Did you see the person that threw the rock?" He asked.
"Umm no,"
"And how sure are you that you didn't leave the window opened and that that rock wasn't already there? Did you see the rock going through the window and hitting the wall?" He looked me straight in the eye.
"No, I just saw the rock in my room and the window opened. Also, I am a hundred percent sure that I closed the window and that rock wasn't there. So I'm sure someone threw it." I answered.
"Ok, so you're saying that someone threw the rock but you didn't see anybody out there nor the rock going through the window?" The police officer looked down at his notepad. "The kid says he's sure someone did it but doesn't have evidence."
"Excuse me, sir." The forensic interrupted him.
"What is it Bailey? What did you find?" The officer turned to face her.
"First of all, the thing on the wall was indeed human blood. Second, I didn't find anything; the only fingerprints on that wall where either the father's or his. So either they did it or the person who did it wore gloves and was cautious enough to not leave any evidence." That's what she explained to the officer.
"We did it!? Why on Earth would we waste our time doing that?" I couldn't believe that she said that. "And human blood? That is what was on the wall? Who would even have that or how could someone get it without killing a person?" I started freaking out.
That night as I was on the couch freaking out and trying to decipher who would do such a thing, a thought came to mind and it bothered me. The only person that would have a real reason to do something like that is Aiden. He had always seemed kinda creepy and I bet that after what happened with Ashley he went psycho mode. The thought bothered me and made me really mad.
The next day when I arrived at school, I wanted to kill Aiden; but I couldn't find him. I knew that I would eventually run into him because we had a practice that day. After school, when he was on his way to the practice, I jumped him with Evan and Jaylen. We beat him up really bad and then we left him there on the floor. He was bleeding everywhere and was gasping for air. He was such a loser.
"I'm gonna kill you!" He screamed as he tried to get up. I turned my face and smiled at him.
"I got people who can beat your ass anytime. What do you have? Those excuses you call muscles? I got bigger arms than you, I can and will break you." We all laughed at him and left. He didn't show up for practice and the coach got mad at him. After practice, I went home.
There was no one at home when suddenly I heard something upstairs in my room, like if someone was there. I took my bat and went up the stairs. I stood right in front of my closed bedroom door; I took a deep breath and then entered the room. There was no one in the room and nothing seemed out of place, but I knew that the sound I heard earlier came from my room. Then I noticed that my window was opened again and I walked up to it to close, it was then that someone started strangling me. I tried to fight back and get loose but I couldn't. Though I did connect some elbow blows and I heard the other person gasping for air. I tried everything, but whoever was strangling me didn't lose grip. Finally I felt really tired, I felt like I was going to die.
"Sleep tight" I heard a familiar voice saying it, but I couldn't make out whose it was before falling into complete darkness.
