Have you ever kissed someone?

Light came from the window and it made me wake up.
What time is it? Am I late for school?
I grabbed my things and went directly towards school. I managed to get there before the first class started. When I entered, I noticed that Yoana wasn't in the room. Odd, she has never been absent. Maybe she's cutting class; that wouldn't surprise me.
A boy from my class approached me. "Did you hear about Yoana?" He paused, but when he saw my blank expression he continued. "Didn't you hear? When Ashley passed the test, the director had to switch someone from this group so they could put Ashley. They decided to switch Yoana, they were going to switch three kids Ashley, Yoana, and some guy. They were bringing Ashley to A, the guy from C to B, and then Yoana was going to C. When she found out that she was being transferred to group C she snapped at Ashley and confronted her in the cafeteria."
"Wait so Yoana is in C now?" I was happy to hear that.
"Yeah, though not for long." He replied.
"What?" I looked at him confused. "Why?"
"Well, apparently Damien talked to his father who supposedly is some kind of big-time lawyer and they were going to make the director change them back." He looked dead serious.
"Wait, can they do that?"
He shrugged and answered, "I don't know, maybe".
After that, he left while I tried to make sense of everything he told me. Can they really do that? Why would the director listen to them? When the bell rang, I passed by the director's office. I didn't see anyone there, so either they had already talked or they hadn't and I still had a chance at hearing them. Since I didn't see anyone near the office I entered my other class. I couldn't stop thinking about the possibility that maybe they would send Ashley to group C even though she had an almost perfect score.
I didn't want to overthink it so I pushed all those thoughts away.
After my second and last class for the day was over, I passed by the director's office again. This time I could see shadows through the window, I couldn't see anything, but I could hear them talking. I put my ear on the door and listened, their voices were muffled and hard to understand.
"Ashley had a nearly perfect score, she proved that she belongs in group A." I heard the director say.
"Well, I already told you what you should do and what will happen if you don't do it. I hope you reconsider, for the school's sake." I didn't recognize that voice it was a man's voice maybe Damien's father.
"Yeah, and you know my father will destroy you and this school. Word to the wise director, I would do what we asked." Damien, that was definitely him.
"I hope that we don't have any problems with you, director. I trust you'll make the right decision." Damien's father said. I instantly turned and walked to my car. When I reached my car I started to think about everything, "I can't believe that they were doing that. Were they blackmailing the director? Will the director do it? What am I going to say to Ashley now? She wanted this and now it wasn't going to be possible because of Damien". I started the engine of my car and remembered the bag of blood inside my backpack.
Once I reached the police station, I put on a hoodie and walked to the entrance. I didn't want to enter so I just left it at the entrance with the note attached to it and walked away. Oh, Damien, I'm gonna make your life a living hell before killing you. When I turned around and started walking I bumped into someone.
