Surprise Visit

Laurie's Pov: I just got home and I hadn't even taken my shoes off when I heard a knock at my door and I opened it to reveal Val.

" Val, What are you doing here. Shouldn't you be at the event?" I ask Val

" I left minutes after you did. I thought I heard you say something to Alan. May I come in?" Val asks me

I stepped aside to let Val in

" I'm am so sorry that you and everyone else had to see me go off like that" I tell Val

" Don't worry about it. Alan deserved it. " He tells me smirking

" So I heard you say that you like me beyond a brother/sister relationship" Val tells me and I look away

" I didn't think that anyone would hear that " I admit

" Well, I am glad that I heard it because I feel the same way. I didn't tell you because you were underage and I didn't want to take advantage of you because I fell in love with you the week we danced the foxtrot" He tells me , walking up to me wrapping his arms around my waist

Val leaned down and I stretched up and we kissed.

After a few minutes of kissing I heard another knock at my door, I opened it to reveal Alan.

" Alan , What are you doing here? Did I not get my point across?" I as Alan my blood boiling in me being pissed off at Alan

" I came to apologize to you for my actions " He tells me and I could tell by the look in his eyes and on his face that he didn't anything of what he had just said

" I don't believe you. First of all you don't just force yourself onto someone who doesn't feel the same way and you definitely don't try to feel that person up. " I tell him honestly

" Why don't you come with me and we go back to the event and forget any of this ever happened" Alan suggests

" No. You can go back to the event and dance the night away and get drunk but I for one have had enough of you for one night. So either you get off my front porch or I will call the police and they can escort you off the premises. Have a good night, Alan" I tell Alan and close the door with him still standing there

I turn around to see Val recording everything that just happened.

" Why don't you go back to your place get some stuff and you can stay with me for the night because I have tomorrow off" I tell Val after he stopped recording

" I will be back soon , babe" He tells me giving me a peck on the lips before leaving

After Val leaves I make sure all of doors are locked

I take my hair down and take my makeup off and I tried to take the dress off but I couldn't.

I guess I will have to stay in the dress until Val gets back.

Val's Pov: Tonight there is a red carpet black tie event. I just got a call from Alan telling me that his original date bailed out on him and that he asked Laurie to be his date for the evening and he told that she said yes.

I am a little jealous that Alan gets to be Laurie's date for the evening because I am in love with her but I haven't told her because I don't want to lose the friendship that we have together.

We arrived outside of Laurie's apartment and Alan got out of the limo to go get her. A few minutes later we saw a grown up looking Laurie in burgundy strapless mermaid dress with her hair up.
