Coming Back

Laurie's Pov:

I have been in a Coma for 2 weeks trying to wake up for my family and Val.

I am sitting in my hospital room trying to figure out how to get out of the Coma when I hear the doctors voice talking to my family.

I hear him tell my parents that they don't think I am going to wake up and that they need to decide whether or not to pull the plug.

The doctor walks away and my family goes to the cafeteria to get something to eat once they leave I turn my attention to Val who looks like his heart was just ran over by a car.

I watched as Mak's pulled Val aside and I listened intently, I heard Mak's tell Val that he needed to read the letter that I wrote to Val months ago just in case something were to happen to me.

Val walked to my hospital room and sat down in the chair next to my body and started to read the letter aloud, His voice cracking several times.

Val finished the letter with tears in his eyes and sat by my side holding my hand until he had to go due to visiting hours being over.

I watched as Val left with his family.

I ran to my where my body lay perfectly still and screamed at myself.

" You have to wake up. For your family. For Val!!!" I scream in own ear

Hours fly by and I watch as Val and his family walk the hallway to the waiting room just like had for the last 2 weeks.

" We have decided to pull the plug " I faintly hear my dad tell Val

After a while the doctor came in followed by my family.

" I will give you some time to say your final goodbyes " The doctor says and exits my hospital room

My parents and my siblings say their final goodbyes and I watch as my mom exits the room.

After a few seconds my family exits the room and Val walks in and shuts the door behind him.

" Laurie, I love you so much more than you could ever know but God works in mysterious ways. I know that I will see you again one day. Goodbye for now the love of my life" Val tells me and places a kiss on my forehead and walks out

I see Val standing outside my room and he watches as my heart goes flat.

Val's back slides down the Val and I hear him say something.

" Goodbye for now. I will see you again one day" Val says in a faint whisper

After the sliding glass door to my hospital room I follow Val and see that he walks to the waiting room to be greeted by his family standing up.

" She's gone " Val tells them as he collapses into tears

Val is pulled into the arms of his family.

" I'm so sorry, Son" Larissa tells Val

" The love of my life is gone" Val say out loud

" Let's go home " Sasha says and I watch as they walk out of the hospital

I follow them to Val house and I watch as Val goes upstairs to His room.

" I can't believe you are really gone. I don't know how I am going to live without you, But I will try " Val says looking at the picture of me that he keeps on his nightstand

Val lays on his side of the bed and places the picture of me on my side and places his hand on top of it.

I lay down next to Val and look into his eyes but I know that he can't see me.
