Laurie's Pov:

Today I have to go run a few errands and go to a few business meetings.

" Babe, I have to go run a few errands and then I have to go to a few business meetings " I tell Val

" Okay. Do you want me to go with you?" Val asks me

" No. I will be fine. Besides Mak's is coming over so that you can talk about the new DWM location" I tell Val

" Okay. Be careful. I love you" Val tells me as I head out the door

" I love you too, Val " I tell Val kissing his lips

I left Val's apartment and drove a few blocks and ran my errands then I went to the 1st of 3 business meetings that I have today.

{ 2 hours later }

After almost 2 hours I got out of that business meeting and drove to my next meeting 5 miles away.

{ 1 hour and 15 minutes later }

After a little over an hour I got out of that meeting and started the 30 minute drive across town to my next Meeting.

{ 2 hours and 45 minutes later }

After a little while I got out of my last meeting and texted Val telling him that I will be home in 1 hour.

I made it to my car and unlocked my car door. I put my phone, keys and purse in the passenger seat I was about to get in my car but I was grabbed and thrown into a Van.

I saw a masked man tying up my feet and hands and put duct tape over my mouth and put a blindfold over my eyes.

I started to freak out and hyperventilate.

' I love you Val ' I think to myself knowing that I will probably never see him again

Val's Pov:

Today Laurie had to go run a few errands and go to few business meetings and Mak's is coming over to talk about the new DWM location that we are opening.

It has been 30 minutes since Laurie left and I am hand washing dishes when there is a knock on my door.

I grabbed the hand towel, Dried my hands off and went to open the door.

I opened my front door and saw my older brother standing on my doorstep.

" Come on in, Mak's" I tell Mak's stepping aside, letting him in

" Have fun last night?" Mak's asks me pouring us each a cup of coffee

" I don't know what your talking about" I tell Mak's

" Judging by the hickeys on your neck and chest, Swollen lips and the scratches on your back you had a very good night " Mak's tells me

" Let's not talk about my sex life and talk about the new DWM location that is opening soon " I tell my prying older brother

Mak's and I sit on my couch in my living room and talk about the DWM location that is opening soon.

We made sure that everything was set to open in a few weeks.

After Mak's and I finished talking about the new DWM location my phone dinged.

" Who just texted you?" Mak's asks me

" Laurie. She texted me telling me that she just got out of her last business meeting and that she will be home in one hour." I tell Mak's

" Well, I'm going to go back home" Mak's tells me standing up

" Would you and Peta like to have dinner with Laurie and I tonight?" I ask Mak's

" Where are we going for dinner?" Mak's asks me

" Nowhere. I am going to cook the 4 of us dinner " I tell Mak's

" Yeah, Sure. Let me tell me Peta come over " Mak's tells me

I got up and started to make dinner.

After 10 minutes of cooking Peta arrived at my place and she and Mak's started talking.

A little while later I finished cooking dinner and set the table.

I checked the clock on the wall and saw that it was way past 1 hour. Laurie should have been home by now.

I got a bad feeling so I called Laurie but she didn't answer so I called her business manager Kelli.

{ Phone call Convo. Voices K- Kelli V- Val }

V- Kelli, Laurie isn't answering her phone. Is she with you?

K- Val, I just walked out of the office and her car is still here along with her purse, keys and phone.

V- Something is wrong. Call the police. I am on my way.

{ End Phone Convo. }

I got off the phone with Kelli and grabbed my car keys and phone and ran out to my car with Peta and Mak's behind me.

" Val, What is going on?" Mak's asks me

" Laurie should have been home an hour ago but she's not here. Kelli told me that Laurie's car is still outside the building where her last business meeting was and her phone, purse, and keys are still in the car but Laurie's not " I tell Mak's

" Val, give me your keys. I'm not letting you drive. " Mak's tells me grabbing my keys

We get In my car and drive to where Laurie's car is.

We arrive and as soon as the car is parked I am out of the car.

I am met by Kelli and the officer in charge.

" Sir, has your girlfriend had any problems with someone?" The officer asks me

" Yes. My girlfriend had a problem with one of my co-workers being to pushy. Wanting to be more than just friends. She didn't want that and she ended up in the hospital , in a Coma because of him." I tell the officer

" What is his name?" The officer asks me

" Alan bersten " I tell the officer

The officer walks away from me and starts talking to some of other officers at the scene.

I walked up to the officer that I had talked to with Mak's and Peta behind me.

" What's going on?" I ask the officer

" Your girlfriend was abducted by Mr. Bersten. We are doing everything that we can to find her. Go home get some rest. I will let you know when we know more information." the officer tells me

Mak's, Peta and I walk to my car and go back to my place.

Once we get back I go to my bedroom and get a shower and get dressed in pajamas and go and sit on the couch drinking some hot coffee and look at pictures of Laurie on my phone.

After a little while of looking at pictures I have finished my cup of coffee and go to my room.

I brush my teeth and then put my phone on the charger and place it on my nightstand and grab the picture of Laurie clutch it to my chest while a few tears stream down my face.

" I love you Laurie." I say aloud to myself and close my eyes and let sleep take me
